Eager to share her pregnancy news with her husband, May's dream night turns into a nightmare. Can their relationship survive when the very foundation of their marriage is questioned?

On a glorious Thursday afternoon, May's dream of having a baby is finally coming true. Bursting with excitement, she's eager to share the news. But her best laid plans disintegrate when Jim returns home from work with a different idea...one that didn't include her.

Doubting whether they still share the same dream of a family, May contemplates her future with Jim until the rain washes in an unexpected tryst. Can their relationship weather the storm of emotions unleashed.

Review:
May is happy and yet terrified at telling her husband the news, she’s pregnant. How do you find the right way? Do you tell him over dinner or blurt it out in general conversation. Will he be happy or find the news daunting? That’s what May tries to figure out as she stops by her local grocery store to find the right items for dinner -- just to make the event as special as it should be.

I was honestly excited to read my first taste of S.E. Holden who states very clearly that he enjoys bringing stories of committed couples dealing with every day life obstacles and he doesn’t disappoint. Through May’s angst and Jim’s reactions to the news, the moment of shared passion that draws the couple even closer is a touch breathtaking. I can only hope that all pregnant women share such blissful joy in telling their husbands such dazzling news. His writing style is poignant and very contemporary and I found every sensual passage a pleasure to read. Watch out for future treats from Mr. Holden, you won’t be disappointed.

Becoming parents wreaked havoc on their intimacy, but would their love be strong enough to survive and get their sex life back on track?

Julie and Ray, a young couple, trying to bring some semblance of normalcy back to their lives after the birth of their son, are finding it exceedingly difficult. And while Jayden is the type of child young parents dream about, his arrival has created a potentially devastating rift between his parents. Will their love and commitment to each other be strong enough to bridge that gap and get their intimacy back on track?

Review:
New parents Julie and Ray are still in love but since new son Jayden was born, Ray is having a difficult time comprehending that Julie is the same woman he fell in love with. He views her now as a mother first, wife second. His emotions are high strung about inflicting childbirth pain upon her and believes he'll get her pregnant again and fears that outcome.

Julie is so much in love with her husband, and desperately horny. She's physically fit and attractive and ready for some action. She just needs to figure out how to seduce her husband. With the help of her sister, Ann, Julie embarks on a night of temptation by dressing provocatively and having a romantic dinner.

Halfway through the meal and Julie's purposeful sexual acts, Ray realizes she is the woman he wants, needs and desires.

Holden captures the couple's love and desires to perfection. Every married couple can relate to the lack of sexual release after the birth of a child. Experiencing the same circumstances in my life, made me recall how my husband and I communicated this concern. Holden touched the surface with Ray's worry but never had the couple really discuss why he was hesitant. The HEA ending was sweet as Ann brought Jayden home the following morning to discover the duo appreciating each other. Perfect way to wrap up the story and their love.

I recommend this book for erotic and romance fans as well as parents of small children. It will help difficulties of the same dilemma in their relationship.
