Can she settle for just a little fun?
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning Adam stops by Amy's bakery for one of her delicious muffins…and a little flirting. When he finally asks her out, Amy is thrilled.
Adam informs her from the beginning that he isn't looking for anything serious. Just a little fun. Amy agrees, even though she isn't entirely sure that's what she wants.
She does her best to play it cool, but Adam is sending so many mixed signals he's confusing her, which she finds incredibly frustrating.
Adam is terrified by the feelings he's developing for Amy. It would be so much easier if he just backed away from her. Then there's his sister, who is insisting that Amy is not the right girl for him.
Will Adam be able to figure out what his heart desires before it's too late and he loses his chance at true happiness?
Content Warning: explicit sex
Brynn's Review:
This was the first read by Wolfe that I have had the pleasure of reading and I can guarantee, it will NOT be the last. I love the premise of the story, the characters and, just everything.
The way Wolfe builds up the romance, well- the let's have fun romance, between Amy and Adam had me smiling, wanting more and totally in love with their blossoming love. Tuesday and Thursday light flirting turns into more than Adam bargained for and, poor Amy- poor, poor Amy is not sure what to think. Have fun with Adam? Oh yes she did, but yet, he's wanting more- or at least giving her the indication he wants more. What's a girl to do? I have to admit, I literally laughed out loud when Adam first exposed 'himself' to Amy. Her response of "God, you're big"...I couldn't help myself. She is every man's dream woman just by declaring those three words.
I can't say enough posivitve about Wolfe's writing style, character connection and the way she entwined Adam and Amy's lives. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of romance who are looking to lose themselves in an afternoon of love and fun.
