Amanda Cooper, scarred from burns received in a car accident, suddenly meets her high school sweetheart. She keeps him at arms length, so he won’t be repulsed by her burns, but he wants to restart their relationship from ten years ago.
Meanwhile, someone unknown has been sending her threatening letters and is hunting her down to kill her. Will she be killed by whoever is stalking her, or will Eric convince her he sees her beauty beyond her scars?

Review:
A fast paced read that keeps you wanting to read and not put down the book. Amanda Cooper has a great job, house and somewhat of a love life; that is, until she finds out she is not the only woman Jeffery has been seeing. On their way home from a party, Amanda confronts him about it and they are involved in a car accident in which Amanda is scarred by all the burns and Jeffery burns up in the car.
Amanda’s boss and friend sends her to the beach for two weeks to relax and get away. She is shocked to see her ex-boyfriend from ten years ago approach her. He found out about her accident and hunted her down through her friends. He wants another chance but Amanda is afraid if Eric sees her scars, that will be the end of it.
After the accident, Amanda has been getting some threatening notes. Will that person cash in on the notes and hurt her?
The characters are all great and the storyline is remarkable. I did not want to put this book down. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Eric and Amanda take shape. This, to me, is a must read for anyone.
