In a pillow community where everything is supposed to be perfect and hushed, Kyle Ferguson was asked a favor by John Taylor to fulfill his wife's fantasy, Felicia Taylor, in a threesome. They thought by spicing up their marriage with a threesome would be the answer to their mundane marriage situation. But will Kyle and John remain friends afterwards and will Kyle's feeling for Felicia develop

Review:
Part One? Sostre leaves you hanging at the end of this short erotic novella. How long until Part Two was my first thought as I hit that last sentence.

Poor Kyle- he wants Felicia and now he has a chance to have her, well, perhaps sharing her with her husband, John. Sostre's endeavor into this menage has purpose (bringing Felicia and John's marriage some spark) and meaning (both Felicia and Kyle crave each other)...but is there love? There is definite attraction, lust and strong emotions on behalf of Kyle and Felicia- as for John, who knows. The man seems blind to his wife's needs.

In this short, Sostre delves deep into Kyle's feelings and thoughts about Felicia. I wish he had given more into Felicia's mind/POV about her relationship with her husband, especially after she admitted to Kyle she was the reason for this 'date'. Maybe that will come in Part Two- which I am greedily rubbing my hands together to read.

Noah Braxton's world has been turned inside out and upside down ever since the fateful moment six months ago when he was turned into a shifter by a dying college girl. She made him promise to look after her sister, Giselle, and in an effort to sooth her he promised her that he would, not realizing the sacrifices he would have to make to keep that promise. Bound by his oath, Noah struggles to fulfill his role of beta to Giselle, an Alpha female, but he can't be everything she needs. He's gay and in order to bond properly with his Alpha female they would have to have sex. Without that bond with an Alpha he is slowly going crazy but he can't force himself to be attracted to a woman. His last hope at saving his mind and his soul lies with Madame Eve of the 1 Night Stand matchmaking service being able to find him a male Alpha that can bridge the gap between himself and Giselle.

Marcus and Vashan have come to Morgantown, WV in the hopes of finding an Alpha female to complete their Pride. Instead they find Noah, a man on the edge of insanity who is also a natural dominant. Despite this both men are instantly drawn to Noah and decide to help him. Marcus will have to use all his strength as an Alpha to dominate Noah and show him that submission to his Alpha doesn't make him weak.

Review:
As the Prides of Moon and the 1 Night Stand series continue, we seem to be concluding Marcus and Vashan’s story with Amethyst Moon.  In this story we meet Noah.  He is a troubled man, thrust into the world of shifters.  Not only does he have to learn how to be a shifter and act properly, he must take care and be submissive to his Alpha, Giselle.  Which is very hard for him, considering he had a very dominate personality as a human.  He also can’t bond with her properly because he is gay, so he sets out to find an Alpha and Beta who can.

Marcus and Vashan need a female Alpha to complete them.  Their need to procreate is inbred into them and they wish to complete that bond.  They are contacted by Madame Eve to meet with a beta.  All she asks is to hear him out.

I do believe I have found a 1NS that has left me wanting.  While I enjoyed the dominance play between Marcus and Noah (Yo Howdy!!), this story seems unfinished to me.  I believe it is because we were not introduced to Giselle, so their mating bond as a foursome was never completed.  I can actually see why it wasn’t able to be completed due to this being a short story, but I was still not satisfied.  I really can’t see how I could have been satisfied because of the time constraints.  I think the other problem is that I can’t see a short story being written about Giselle.  My fingers are crossed though.

I do have to say though their bonding was sizzling hot and ummm just WOW!  I do hope to hear more from Ms. Mayburn.  I have come to truly enjoy her Prides of the Moon series.

Werepuma and sheltered virgin Kara Vinsenz has no idea how to entice men, furry or otherwise. She contacts Madame Eve of the 1Night Stand matchmaking service in a desperate attempt to avoid a terrible arranged marriage to a psychopathic shifter. In a daring move that goes against her confined upbringing, she poses as her twin sister to escape her family compound in the hopes of meeting an Alpha and a Beta strong enough to be her mates. She waits to meet them until she goes into heat and is totally unprepared for the consequences of her actions.

Ben Harkil and Jude Carson are on the hunt for the perfect Alpha female to complete their Pride and when they meet Kara, they believe their prayers have been answered. What starts out as a 1Night Stand ends up being so much more when Kara realizes that her lies may have doomed from the start the only love that can save her and her Pride from a madman.

Review:
A while back I read Emerald Moon and I fell in love with Ben and Jude.  Their story was very touching.  I never imagined that Ms. Mayburn would continue their journey to find a female for their bond.  Thank goodness she did.

What I love about the 1 Night Stand series is that they are quick, hot and yet filling.  You go into reading them knowing they are short stories, but the way they are written they fill a need and fill it to overflowing.  I have yet to be left wanting with any of the stories.

Kara Vinsenz has a problem.  She is engaged to a psychotic man who has tormented her, her whole life.  She is coming upon her last chance to escape him and the only thing she can do is ask for help.  Her sister Tanisha once used the services of 1 Night Stand and found a wonderful mate.  She decides to take the chance and fills out the application.

Ben and Jude need a woman to complete them.  While they love each other they know that to be completely whole they need a female alpha to form their own pride.  So after having no luck on their own, they ask Madame Eve to help them find her.  She didn’t let them down the first time.

Even though Kara is in heat, their attraction is instant and both Kara and Ben know that this is right.  Before Jude can complete their mating things get ugly, but together they will try to get past it.

I enjoyed this story.  Even though the book takes place in one night, this story involved a bit more action with the addition of Kara’s fiancĂ©.  Kara is fierce and I enjoyed the dominance play between her and Ben.  I can see they are going to have a great bond.

Though the 1NS series are standalones, I think Ann’s submissions are enhanced being read them as a series in order.  They are called Prides of the Moon.  As with any short story, you have to go in knowing that is exactly what you are going to get, a short story.  I am looking forward to the next installment in Prides of the Moon, Onyx Moon.

Marcus Galin has searched the world for a very special kind of werepuma—a beta who has also been blessed by the Goddess as a shaman. His prayers are finally answered when Madame Eve of the 1Night Stand matchmaking service arranges for him to meet a man in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica that fits his requirements. Only problem: Marcus is terrified of magic and doesn't know if he can overcome his fear enough to open his heart to a stranger that his Pride and his heart desperately need.

Vashan Dulphin has spent all of his life as an outcast among his people. By a twist of fate and genetics at puberty, he became a werejaguar instead of a werepuma, much to his family and Pride's disgust. Since then he has lived in solitude among his people, tolerated only because of his power as both a beta and a shaman. Desperate for a chance to find a home where he will be loved, he calls on the aid of Madame Eve, who sends him Marcus.

Together the men will have to overcome their fear and self-doubt for a one-in-a-million chance at love.

Review:
I am so enjoying Ann Mayburn’s stories in the 1 Night Stand series.  They can also be found as a sub series she calls Prides of the Moon.  I enjoy that she continues to expand on the storyline, yet the all the stories can be read alone.

I met Marcus in the prior 1NS story, Turquoise Moon.  I never dreamed that he would be next in line for a story.  He is to be the next Alpha of the Onyx Moon Pride.  His pride is in need of a shaman, and Marcus is in need of a beta.  Since he has a deep distrust for magic, his only option is to find a beta shaman that he can bond with and know his mates heart and soul.

For several years all Vashan has known is pain and loneliness.  Since the moment of his first shift he has been a pariah among his people.  All their love and trust was ripped away from on that day.  Now all he wants is to belong.  He signs up with Madame Eve’s service.  He hopes to meet a mate and become part of a pride.

Their meeting is electrified, but quickly turns ugly.  As Marcus tries to earn back Vashan’s trust, they open up and find what each other was missing.

I enjoyed their story.  Ms. Mayburn did a great job conveying their past pain in such a short time.  The one bummer about short stories is the inability to continue a great storyline.  My only hope is soon Ms. Mayburn will continue their journey to find their next Alpha.

Onyx Moon is a sexy hot read about two men who overcome their pasts to be able to start their futures.  You can’t help but cheer them on and fan yourself after their hot and steamy 1 Night Stand.

A Dead Man's Debt - a story of blackmail, duty and an unexpected love. After publically humiliating a suitor, Miss Celeste Armitage is sent from the Ton in disgrace and resolves never to marry. But when she finds a sketch book of nude studies and discovers the artist is her hostess's eldest son, Lord Ranulf Charing, she finds herself dangerously attracted to exactly the sort of rogue she is sworn to avoid. Nothing is as it seems. Lord Ranulf's life is a facade and he is being blackmailed over his late brother's debts. But just as the darkly restless Ranulf unexpectedly learns to love, the vengeful fury of his nemesis unleashed. In order to protect Celeste, Lord Ranulf faces a stark choice between duty and true love... However Ranulf has underestimated Miss Armitage's stubborn resolve to clear his name, and in so doing places the woman he loves in mortal danger....

Review:
A Dead Man’s Debt is a lovely story with amusing characters and an entertaining plot.

Lord Ranulf Charing is man who is in a position he dreads. He has no desire to wed or to carry on the family name. Though born the first son, he had planned to allow his brother Edmund the honor of producing an heir. Those plans were crushed when his brother passed away several months ago. While he detests his position in his family he is extremely loyal to them. He takes it upon himself to protect his mother from the misfortunate deeds of his deceased brother. Calling upon a special acquaintance to help him settle his brother’s debts, he is unfortunately thrust into a life altering scheme. That is the least of his concerns though. After meeting his mother’s companion, he is now drawn to her in a way that is even more dangerous to him.

Celeste Armitage is a woman born well before her time. She is sent to the country to become Lady Sophia Candum’s companion after she publically humiliates a suitor, making her even more determined to never marry. She has a deep passion to see the world and being tied down to marriage is the last thing she desires. A lover of art, she is intrigued when she discovers a sketchbook and is even more surprised by the owner of the book.

I absolutely adored Ranulf and Celeste’s story. Their interaction was smartly written and extremely enjoyable. Ranulf has a wicked sense of humor and I loved the dialogue between the two main characters. Celeste is a wonderfully smart woman and she holds a sense of self worth that is unheard of during the era the story is written. She is resourceful and very practical. It was a joy to watch the growth of their affection, with all the inner turmoil and the circumstances of how they came to be together.

The secondary characters were just as pleasurable. Ranulf’s valet Smethwick was a smart-witted stitch. His mother, Lady Candum, stole most scenes she was in and in the end was so well written I would love to be able to call her a friend. Last but not least, the villain of the story was deliciously wicked and while the outcome of their demise was not fitting the crime, it still put a smile on my face.

A Dead Man’s Debt was pure pleasure and sinfully decadent. The storyline was very well paced and didn’t get boring. Ms. Elliot kept me involved and on pins and needles the whole journey. The sexual tension was steamy and not overly done. The sex scenes were hot, but not erotic. This is a wonderfully written novel all around. I was captivated from the first page and it didn’t let go. I enjoyed the story immensely and highly recommend it.

Same day, different year but this time I had a new doctor. Who knew a yearly exam could be so much fun. But I have to wonder...did it really happen or was it just a fantasy?

Review:
Not sure where to begin with this review.

Was it a fantasy? Was she wanting more than Dr. Aaron had to offer? I mean, I know many women have had the yearly exam fantasy/dream about their 'hot' gynecologist but really? A seven page fantasy about being poked and prodded, having an orgasm all because your doctor did a pap smear and exam.

The writing was good, grammatically correct but I just couldn't find a story line here except to say a lonely woman's dream. I am not sure this short-short is worth the value. If it were a free read I would consider reading but not meriting hard-earned cash out the door.

Always driving through life along the straight and narrow, Hollie wants a break from staying within the lines. She hopes a hookup at 1NightStand with a tall fair-haired guy who’s organized and sensible, likes small-breasted brunettes, and can deal with any crisis life throws at him, will jar her from the mundane path she’s been on.

Except what seemed like the perfect plan when she set off, turns into the worst idea ever as the snow falls thickly. Slipping and sliding, her arms numb from clenching the wheel, she becomes frantic to avoid what’s looming in front of her.

Dark-haired Nick is on his way to a party with hopes of connecting with a busty blonde—assuming he’s even on the right road and can dig himself out of a heap of snow before he freezes solid. Too bad he never plans ahead, no coat and no shovel in the car, and soon he won’t even see a road at all, let alone any vehicle barrelling down it.

When two hearts get lost in a snowstorm of what they think they want, can Madame Eve's magic put them back on the right track?

Review:
A winter wonderland classic of love and romance is the setting to this 1NS Decadent novel. The way Elsborg creates the characters of Hollie and Nick is priceless. Both having different views of love (Hollie is ready to give up and Nick is seeking a buxom blonde- grrr- but I forgave him after the sledding scene).

This unique love story offers fun, laughs and some hot scenes in the bedroom to thaw out the snowstorm swirling outside. Elsford had me hooked from the moment Hollie lost control of her car until Nick lost control of his love.

These 1NS stories are full of fabulous writing and pleasing authors. Elsborg being a new discovery author of mine and I will be looking for more of her work in the future. *Applauding Elsborg for this incredible story of love and happiness.

But Ramon’s lack of interest in soccer, women, or in anything besides the blackjack tables has Jackson worried.

Gillian Winter, catering and banquet manager for the MGM Grand Hotel is nurturing her own deep wounds. Her beloved husband has died unexpectedly, leaving her with a young son whose one dream is to meet his hero: Number 17 on the American National Soccer team, Ramon Castillo. When an apparent chance encounter in the lobby of the MGM reveals Ramon's presence in their midst, everyone's lives are changed forever.

Can Madame Eve work her magic and bring true healing to Ramon and Gillian? Or is it too late?

Review:
Crowe has such a unique way of weaving a story and Caught Offside is no exception. Ramon is one of the sexiest characters I have had the privilege of getting to know while Gillian displays the perfect woman. The way Crowe interweaves these two characters (and adds in her son's secondary character) is priceless.

I have to say the story warmed me and made me want more. These Decadent 1NS with Madame Eve are truly a delight to read and I must say Crowe's contribution is one that I will treasure and call one of my favorites. The chemistry that Crowe develops between these two builds and builds until it is flaming hot! Kudos to Crowe for allowing me an afternoon of fun, love and enticing characters.

Her writing style is genuine, hot and deliberate- PERFECTION! Highly recommend this read.

Lydia awakes, bound and blind, to the whispered urgings of a man who has his hands on her. His words confuse her at first, but she soon understands they are both in the middle of a performance that will determine whether she remains in captivity or dies. The crowd must be entertained, and her cellmate makes sure it is.

Forced submission is not the only horror Lydia endures. She has no memories of life before her imprisonment, and Joe, her cellmate, is her only comfort as the powerful creatures that hold them captive torture and debase her. Together, she and Joe cling to the will to survive long enough to break free and seek revenge. Their desire to sustain one another triumphs over their wardens' efforts to destroy them. There is no pain, no suffering, that can tear them apart.

Beyond their cell, their love is tested. Can they hold strong in the face of the challenge of the new powers they have gained along with their freedom?

Review:
Deadly Captive: Collateral Damage is the sequel to Deadly Captive. This is along the same line as the first story, only it has one of the captors as the main Hero in the story.

Nicole Reed is a day care teacher and sees a boy wandering the street. She is naturally caring and tries to save the boy only to discover she’d been led into a trap. Nicole is now in a world where she must fight for her survival and the only chance she has is with Vince, one of her captors.

Vince is a charming but deadly hero and one of the hardest I’ve had to read. He is lovable but he’s been raised by one of the hardest people in the world.

This story can be read as a stand-alone but I think what made this story more intense and intriguing is how I’ve known a few of the characters before.

What I love about these stories is how different and edgy they are. Bianca Sommerland manages to combine the frightening prospect of being close to death and the growing love between two unlikely people.

I will warn you this is not for the faint heart, it is not a pristine loving romance but one that deals with a lot of torture, death and forced seduction and sometimes rape.

This is well written and the characters match the story.

Dirk has worked tirelessly on creating an online dating service to help male werewolves find their mortal mates. Having hired a mortal female to assist him, when he meets her face-to-face for the very first time, Dirk is smitten by her beauty and finds himself breathless as he realizes the very thing he’s spent a lifetime looking for is finally within his reach…setting his mating urge off in an instant.

Ryann, completely absorbed with raising her precious son for the last two years, has been without a man in her life for far too long. But when she sees Dirk in person for the very first time, and he reawakens the sexual cravings of her neglected body, Ryann hungers not only for his touch, but also yearns for the day her new boss will think of her as more than just his employee.

Review:
At nine hundred and fifty years old Dirk is ready for love.  He has been watching his fellow protectors find their mates and he is taking his future into his own hands.  He has developed a computer program to find the perfect mate.  He decides to start an online dating service to help others like him trying to find the perfect match, their mate.  He never expected her to be right under his nose the whole time.

Dirk’s Love falls right in line with the rest of this series, Roxy’s Protectors.  They are quick, heated and just plain fun.  He is the last of the protectors to find love and just might be the most ready.  From the moment Dirk and Ryann meet, there is sizzling chemistry.  That is the way it is with this take on werewolf lore; the mating urge is unbelievably strong and instant.

Attraction on the human side is confusing but just as hot.  Ryann has no clue why she is so attracted to this man, but her body and mind tell her to run to him not walk.

Dirk’s Love is a very quick read.  I would recommend that you enjoy this series right from the very beginning, even before the first Roxie’s Protectors book.  Start with Beowulf and Roxie; book one inWulf’s Den series.  These two series complement each other wonderfully and should be enjoyed in order from start to finish.  All the stories are short, but very enjoyable.  They are all connected and Ms. Chenery has built an exciting universe centered loosely on the foretold one; the one person who rules over all the werewolf packs.

I honestly don’t know if this is the last of the series in Roxie’s Protectors, being Dirk is the last of the official protectors to find their mate.  I can see the possibility of at least one more “kinda” member left to find love.  The story of Roxie is in no way over, so we might be enjoying another arc in the storyline.  Either way I’ll be right there waiting.  I have enjoyed this book and the entire series.  I hope you will too.

Eve's desperate denial only means one thing...she has a lot to learn.

Eve Blake has been working at Altered Ego, a studio specializing in fetish photography, for three months when a custom order comes in for a plus-sized redhead. Ready for an adventure, she volunteers for the job. Chase, her boss, reluctantly accepts. Maybe pretending to be a sexual slave for Chase's camera will get her one step closer to the two men she thinks can satisfy even her darkest needs.

Chase can't believe he's agreed to this deal. The cardinal rule in any business is not to get involved with your employees and that includes your sexy receptionist. He and his partner Murphy learned that lesson the hard way. Now Chase has a hunch the first time they touch their rope to Eve's creamy flesh, there will be no turning back. They'll have to have her.

One shoot leads to another and Eve finds herself at a playground at midnight. When the scene takes a dark turn, Eve sinks deeper into sensation at the hands of two masters who push for her ultimate surrender. Will she reach the limit of how far she can go, or will the ties that bind form bonds of love?

Review:
What can I say about a sexy, hot BDSM story?  There is something about a strong man, but when you have two...WHEW things are going to get really HOT!

I was intrigued by the promise of a plus-sized woman being the center of a love triangle.  What I found was somewhat intense scenes that I couldn’t connect with.  The story as a whole is rough yet tame, dark but light.  I liked it but I didn’t.  Isn’t that confusing?

Chase seemed like the easy going of the two men.  He ended up being rude and sometimes just cruel.  He is a tortured soul, but there is only so much a woman should have to take.

Now Murphy….he’s a true sadist at heart.  I never for one second thought I would like a sadist.  Just the idea of someone inflicting real pain on someone for the pleasure of it,   ahhh *shudders*.  I really liked him, well him as a man and companion.  Now him as a lover, nope still kind of scares me.

Eve, Eve, Eve.  Let’s see, she wants to live again and she has feelings for two amazingly sexy men.  What woman wouldn’t be attracted to the virility and dominance of Chase and Murphy?  She really did bite off more then she could chew, but handled it with her head held high.  Was her story believable…I’m not sure.  You will have to read Midnight Playground to make your own determination.

Midnight Playground was still a good story.  The BDSM scenes were well written, with some new and surprising elements.  They are definitely not the tender loving but tough, give and take exchanges that you find in other erotica books.  There was pleasure/pain with a whole lot of bite.  Be warned they are a bit rough with her, both physically and emotionally, but since I have no experience in the lifestyle, I really can’t gauge the truthfulness of scenes.  Don’t get me wrong.  The scenes are not out of this world, scary and brutal, just a bit rougher then the norm.  I have read some forceful scenes, but I think these scenes tap more into the emotional elements.  I will also say there were basic reasons for the scene elements too.  Though they could be very rough on Eve, there were moments of complete and utter tenderness.

So, I would have to say if you like your BDSM books with a bit more GRRRR, read Midnight Playgrounds.  Even though I had mixed feelings about the characters, I am still glad I did!

After a childhood spent watching her psychic mother eek out a living reading tarot cards, Hayden Farrell believes in only one thing: being a cop. When a teen-age prostitute is brutally murdered, the Boston P.D. detective must trust a stranger to catch the killer. But is she willing to risk eternity?

Valentin Grigorievich has wanted revenge since London's most notorious serial killer destroyed what he valued most more than a century earlier. To get it, he needs Hayden's help--and maybe her life as well. Will the vampire's plan give him the satisfaction he craves or rob him of his soulmate?

Review:
OK, my first comment may seem like a great big negative about Risking Eternity, but it really isn’t.  It’s just that this was a different experience for me.  I have disliked characters before, but I really disliked Valentin a lot in this one.  He is a vampire out to finish a score.  Hell bent on revenge, no matter who he hurts.  Ms. Haines did a fabulous job making Valentin undesirable.  Great job!!

This story centers around three people even though you don’t meet the third person until the end of the story.  Valentin, Hayden and Henry almost seem to share a past.  Unknowingly, Hayden is a pawn in Valentin and Henry’s vendetta against each other.  The story was well written and though I thought I knew what was going on, but I was still taken by surprise.  Ms. Haines had me engaged and enthralled with the storyline and left me hanging in the end.

I do have to say I cheered Hayden’s choice, but was crushed at how it ended.  I was frantic to find out when the next installment of this trilogy was coming.  I’m sorry to inform you, I have no idea.  On the plus side while Risking Eternity is a novella, I did read that the next very well could be a full length novel, YAY!!!

You will not find closure with this story, so be prepared, but you will be captured by the story and the promise of great things to come.

Sold by her family to become a submissive courtesan to a powerful man, Branwyn arrives in a strange new land ruled by the castle of Black Dorn. Horrified by Branwyn's lack of knowledge regarding relations between a man and his woman, her instructor, Duna Trea, begins her daily lesson in the art of bedding a man.

Review:
Black Dorn is a strange read but in my opinion it was also interesting. There is some language and the way in which they speak you have to get use to, as this is a historical read.

Branwyn arrives at a mysterious household known as Black Dorn and the reader is very much in her mind. The place is strange and when you watch one of the ladies being punished you still don’t understand where she is exactly. As the story progresses the reader and Branwyn are both brought into the understanding of her situation.

There are points I thought were brilliant about this story. One was the fact, Branwyn does fight her training as she was not brought up to touch a man or accept a touch by a man except her husband. I found this refreshing that even after she is punished for fighting her training she is still adamant she won’t submit to it.

The way the reader is taken on a journey with the main lead. You only see what the writer wants you to see and I thought that was really great.

She defies all odds and falls in love with the man of the house. Their romance is beautiful and well written and as you read you wish them the best.

Daryl Devore has written another great read and one I really enjoyed.

As the adopted daughter of the town’s madam, Strawberry Meadows has seen it all. After ten years of living in Lily Bell’s saloon she believes all men are the same: wild cads, cheating husbands, tumbleweeds, and outlaws. Marriage is not an option, but when Berry comes face to face with the town’s new sheriff, she finds herself fighting feelings she has never before experienced. With friends and family playing matchmaker, controlling the urge to throw herself into the lawman’s arms proves more difficult than she ever imagined.

Sheriff Tavis Wilks came to Chamberlin to begin life anew. Perhaps find a wife and settle down. Unfortunately, not one of the women in the town caught his eye or held his interest, until he met Berry. Something about her set his blood on fire. From her hot tempter to her unwillingness to let him close, he wants her, needs her. The only thing stopping him from making her his own is Berry herself.

When an old enemy rambles into town and takes a special interest in Berry, Tavis must scramble to rescue the only woman he has ever loved before his future is destroyed by his past.

Review:
Tumbleweeds is an enthralling read from the moment you start the first page. After living in Lily Bell’s Saloon, Strawberry Meadows no longer believes in men or marriage. She rejects every suitor even though Lily and some of the other girls try to get her fixed up for marriage. Strawberry wants nothing to do with it and refuses every single suitor. That is until the new Sheriff Travis Wilks walks into the saloon. The chemistry between them is instant and fiery and the reader is captured by their time on the page.

Strawberry and Travis are really beautifully written and the love that develops is pure class. Strawberry doesn’t want to fall in love and she fights her feelings for Travis but he is on a mission to seduce her. He doesn’t want her as a quick tumble but for his wife. I loved the reaction of the local town’s people and how they all accepted Strawberry. What I found very funny was how they were all rooting for Travis. Tumbleweeds, has so much for a reader to enjoy, two brilliant characters, romance, charm, action and adventure and a chance for the hero to show not every man needs to visit a saloon when he’s with the woman he loves. This is one thoroughly enjoyable reads and one I can easily say is a keeper.

A chance meeting in a bar leads to the most erotic night of Pam's life. Only when she awakes, Gabe is gone, and naturally she doesn't expect to see him again. Until Monday morning that is, when she arrives at the office...and meets her new boss.

For Gabe, one night was never going to be enough. He wants Pam again and intends to have her. Will she be able to look past their working relationship? And if so, will she be able to please her boss?

Review:
I have to say with this one I was caught by the title, Pleasing the boss, how can that not be a good read? I wasn’t wrong.  Emma Shortt has written another highly erotic but deeply romantic reads.

Pam and Gabe hit it off one night in a bar and they go back to her place and have some very hot and steamy sex. What Pam doesn’t know is Gabe is in fact her new boss and telling you the rest of the story would simply spoil it.

Pam and Gabe are two wonderful characters that you will instantly fall in love with. What I really liked was as the chapters changed so too did the character. So at one time you were in Pam’s point of view and then the next chapter you were in Gabe and what I found interesting was how attuned the other was to their feelings.

This is a well-written book. The only disappointment for me was that it had to end. I didn’t want it to end.

Tami Morrelle is a struggling business owner who’s trying desperately to hold onto the only thing she has left that ties her to her parents...a beachfront home on the coast. Daniel Ramsey, Tami’s high school crush and the poor boy from the wrong side of the tracks, is back in town and he’s on a mission—to prove his worth now that he’s a wealthy developer. Too bad Daniel’s plans include an oceanfront development and he needs Tami’s land to make it happen. Will the pair be willing to give up what they think they want in order to find what they really need?

Review:
Tami Morrelle is struggling to keep her business afloat. Her aunt’s house and business has so much sentimental value to Tami she wouldn’t dream of giving it up. Even to the bad boy who she had a major crush on when she was in highschool.

Daniel Ramsey was the bad boy from the wrong side of town. He’s now wealthy and wants to buy Tami’s home to build a hotel on the beach front. What follows is the path of two people bruised by past events who manage to work it out and come together and find love.

Daniel and Tami are lovely characters and their plight with their pasts are believable and it is a nice pleasant journey they go on together to find love. Neither trust their new found feelings in the beginning and it’s only as time progresses do, they work through and accept the changes within themselves.

The only bit I wanted was to read a bit more about their past as I found when they referred to each other and high school I was intrigued enough to want to read a scene or two.

Overall, Loving or Nothing is a sweet and tender romance mixed with some intense love scenes.

The Kelly brothers see her return as the answer to their dreams. Jade sees them as a threat to the brittle, protective walls she has built around her. Nate is overbearing and protective but always her safe harbor. Darkly sensual Brett holds the key to her submission. Big Matty has a body to die for and a heart to live by. But are they enough to heal her? After false starts, emotional breakdowns, torrid erotic experiences, and a journey of sensual self-discovery, Jade finds her place in life amid good horses, fast cars, and real men.

Review:
Good Horses, Fast Cars, and Real Men gives you everything. Three super sexy men who are so different and so much a part of this book you would miss them when they’re not there.

Nate, I love for how familiar he was with Jade and the love he feels for her comes natural. Brett is a true dominant and the passion between them is flaming, some super hot sex scenes with him. Matt is adorable, every bit the younger brother but also tempting to Jade. All these men have so much quality and they really do deliver.

Jade is not your typical female, she fights for what she wants and I love how the author shut her off from feeling anything sexual for all the men and allowed her to deal with her own problems. The men in this story had to deal with going from being the number one focal point to being on the back burner. Absolutely fantastic read and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of these characters.

The emotional aspects of the story really add to the depth of characters and their growing feelings towards each other. The intense physical attraction between them helped to understand their love for one another and why they fought it when they were younger.

A highly recommended read. With three hunky men, a head strong woman, horses and fast cars.

When struggling waitress Melody Dylan gives a handsome, lonely stranger a simple gift she has no clue her life is about to take a drastic turn.

The stranger ends up being Clay Powers, a famous UFC heavyweight fighter. Clay’s large build and dangerous fists have always intimidated. People in his hometown keep their distance and Clay is fine with that. Everything changes when a new waitress at the local diner buys him a piece of pie on Thanksgiving. Touched by the gesture when it’s obvious she can barely afford to survive, her warm smile and lush body churn up powerful feelings that leave Clay wanting more from her than pie.

Melody is running from her past and the small, country town of Garnet is the perfect hiding place. With an ex-husband after her and scars from her abusive marriage etched deep, the last thing she expects is to fall for a man who makes a living with his fists, but she can’t resist Clay or the tender connection they share.

Finding love in the most unlikely of places, the passion is undeniable, but Clay and Melody know their haunted pasts and unpredictable futures leave the odds stacked against them.

Review:
Melody has suffered at the hands of a vicious ex-husband and has finally moved away to Garnet, so he can’t hurt her anymore. She is the new waitress where famous UFC heavyweight fighter, Clay Power visits. The moment these two meet where she gives him a slice of pumpkin pie on thanksgiving is so sweet and loving I feel in love with this book instantly. Melody can’t afford much but Clay hates Pumpkin pie and seeing as she bought him a slice he eats his way through it even though the tastes makes him sick to his stomach.

The intense attraction is amazing to read. Clay and Melody are the most unlikely couple but reading them together is so sweet and tender. I love how Kele Moon has wrote the tenderness in this story. For instance Melody needs to save up money and so Clay gets the people who work where he trains to drop in on her section and leave big tips. I found myself falling in love with him myself.

Battered Hearts: Defying the Odds is an emotional, sexy, intense read that will have you loving the characters from the beginning. Clay is a sweetie and Melody the beautiful woman he deserves.

Highly rated.

In spite of a brief experimentation early in their relationship, Doc and Carrie Baumgartner have since maintained a monogamous marriage without too much difficulty or even temptation—until now. A move far from home, coupled with new friends and long hours away from each other in classes or at work, have left the young Baumgartner couple on shaky ground. Doc believes bringing in someone “new” like they did early in their relationship might add just the spice their marriage needs, but Carrie isn’t so sure about that plan. Doc has a surprise Christmas present for his wife anyway—but in an ironic twist, he discovers she has one for him as well, and each gift allows the Baumgartners to rediscover, in the true spirit of Christmas, an expansive love that includes not only their feelings for each other, but their ability to share that inclusive passion with others as well.

Review:
Selena Kitt has proven to me how wonderful she is at writing great stories with highly erotic content.
A Baumgartner Christmas takes place not long after Doc and Carrie have been married. They stay monogamous but before their marriage they use to enjoy the company of a female third, Carrie who is bisexual.

There is something missing since they stay together. There love and passion is strong but the thought of bringing another into their relationships sets about fireworks.

Sharing in a relationship I always feel needs to be dealt with gently but Selena Kitt makes sure the reader understands that Doc and Carrie’s relationship and love is solid and the use of another woman is in fact set to heighten their physical relationship rather than replace each other.

A highly hot recommended read.

With their people poised on the verge of extinction, the Kalquorians are determined to have Amelia for their mate. Amelia is equally determined to escape. But when her body thrills to the ruthless domination of her captors, she finds herself surrendering to desires she never imagined possible.

Review:
I don’t know how to properly rate this book as I found it a mixture of so many emotions, for me. First I thought the creation of a whole new world and the spin on Earther beings and there repressed sexuality, rather scary but at the same time, taking a time period and darkening it a little bit, rather true.

I got angry and sad for the lead heroine in this story, Amelia Ryan. She has been through so much and in a way these men from a planet called Kalquor, take her away and adore her body and her as a person.

Some of the speech is written strangely but that is a way of showing the three men from a different planet. Once you get past that it does sound like an intriguing read.

Overall it is a good read but I found parts difficult to read. What I would like to say is this is my opinion and that others may find it more agreeable to them.

They shared one night of explosive passion and for six months, she'd believed herself a widow. Now Ben is back to claim what's his, and that includes the sweet bride he'd never been able to forget.

Review:
Redemption opens up right into the meeting of Katie and Ben Cready. These two are completely different but what brings them together is Katie running from her uncle and their attraction for each other. Katie is sweet and you get the vulnerable quality from her that is unsure around her husband but at the same time feels comforted and protected by him. Ben is a roguish outlaw but tries to smooth out his rough edges.

These two shouldn’t work at all but together on the page and the way it is written, the sex and love scenes are perfectly combined to build up the romance. Overall I thought this was a really enjoyable read, if at times a little bit quick as it moves from one scene to the next.

I would have loved to have seen more of Katie and Ben when they first meet but I’m greedy. You will love it.

When Jon and Holly decide to sabotage the mind-control experiments, they learn they're up against a far greater power than they'd bargained for. Doing the right thing risks lives. Will the truth of their beginnings wreck their sizzling affair?

Review:
Mind-Blown is one of those rare books that will stand out as one of the best books I think I've ever read, and I don't mean this lightly.  Have you ever seen a movie and then read the book?  And the book is so much better than the movie?  This book is better than the movie, and a movie hasn't even been made from it yet!
Mind-Blown is about a woman named Holly who was looking for a job in a bad economy.  She ends up hired as a medical billing coder for a company called TDG.  She ends up an executive assistant to the man who had hired her for the position, Jon.  Typical story to start with.  There is a secret medical "sleep testing" facility side to the building they work in and a special medical clinic is set up for the employees.  After Jon is instructed to fire employees who refused a "flu shot" that turned out not to be a flu shot, things really begin to look fishy.  To find out more about what is going on, Holly volunteers for one of the "tests" being performed at the clinic.  The story goes into mind control, micro-chipping of people, and drug testing done on people without their knowledge.  Toss in possible CIA ties, secret records, and you have one hell of a story!
This page turner grabbed my interest early and kept me reading.  The characters are well fleshed out, and the author tells a very adventurous, and almost too real story of something that could actually happen.  There is a bit of romance in the book, and even the hook of the character Jon possibly using some of the mind control on Holly to gain her interest.  I cannot recommend this book highly enough! I enjoyed every word of it!  Don't pass this one up!

Danielle Stuart is spending a year abroad studying in Venice, but while she loves the romance of the language and the beauty of country, she finds herself more and more confused by her growing feelings for a gondolier named Nico and her now ex-husband, Mason, who has shown up on her doorstep looking to reconcile. Desperate Dani writes to the Baumgartners in hopes her former lovers might help her clarify her muddled emotions. Finding herself torn between the two men, she reveals her dizzying dilemma, only to discover, thanks to the Baumgartner’s insight and her own sense of sexual discovery, that she may not have to choose after all.

Review:
Letters to the Baumgartners is an emotional and heart felt erotic romance story. The story is told through Danielle Stuart and you instantly get the view she has been hit by loss. She’s young but mature for her years and has also been married. You see her struggle as she starts to fall for Nico the man she meets while studying abroad.

I found as soon as Mason, the ex-husband the more emotional aspect of the story started playing out. You feel through Danielle and her need to fight to protect her heart and herself.

Selena Kitt does write strong erotic content but within this story it only enhances the story with the three main leads. Overall, this is a well written, highly erotic romance that I enjoyed reading.
