Matthew had a fantasy about submitting to his wife Samantha; to be Her adoring and worshipful slave, doing Her bidding, suffering Her torments and pleasures. What will happen when this hunky construction worker gets his wish, when he is forced to his knees and used as a sex toy? It’s a kinky affair when a loving couple starts down the Road to Desire.

Review:
Not one for BDSM, not matter how soft, light or hard, I was remarkably surprised at my reaction to Road To Desire. Olson created a nice balance between BDSM, the unknown of pleasure and a connection within the relationship between Matthew and Samantha that made me crave more.

Olson has a way of drawing readers into her storytelling, feel for the characters and want more. I love the way she built the characters interactions and made this a real believable plot. Some times BDSM stories are all about sex and the DOM/SUB but Olson dove deeper and made this an enjoyable read.

Gage and the love of his life, Andi, planned their romantic get-away to an ocean-side resort. When Andi invites her friend, Kaitlin along, it becomes a question of ‘who’ desires Kaitlin more: Gage or Andi? Can friends become lovers? Can they share? Will Gage and Andi make Kaitlin Ours Until Morning?

Review:
Once again Ms. Olson does a superb writing job of creating characters and as story line to please every aspect of an erotic mind. Gage and Andi seem to be the perfect couple but add in Kaitlin and WHOA! You have one hot menage starting to take place.

The way Olson weaves the introduction of Gage and Kaitlin is priceless. The dialogue is well-crafted and the ease of the plot is believable. This is the way in real life a menage should be... friends becoming lovers and unconditional love ensues, animosity is left at the door and how Olson blends the trio is outstanding.

Ours Until Morning is a classic in the making and one to treasure for every menage and erotic romance reader. Highly recommended. Grab a glass of wine, your favorite blanket and settle in for a treat with Olson's newest release.

With his sexy smile and rock-hard body, P.I. Jonas Phoenix is used to having women flock to his bed. But these days there's only one woman Jonas wants-and she won't give him the time of day.

Deanna Harrison knows she can't fight her attraction to Jonas forever, but she's looking for more than a fling. So Jonas issues Deanna a challenge:  give him one weekend at his Miami beach house to win her over. No strings attached. No limitations.

Once in Miami, the sexual tension erupts as Deanna finally lets go-and lets Jonas pleasure her in ways she's only dreamed of. But while their bond grows stronger, danger lurks close by-and it could be deadly for them both...

Review:
Pleasure Bound was amazing. I haven’t read the first book in this series but I can tell you, you really don’t need it.

This book starts where Jonas Phoenix first meets Deanna Harrison. His best friend’s youngest sister. When these two got on the screen, the action soon started to pick up. Deanna refuses Jonas at every turn. She doesn’t want to be another notch on his bed post. Even though she wants him desperately. Jonas doesn’t give up and keeps on asking her out. After some time he challenges her. She is to spend one weekend alone with him at his beach house in Miami and he’ll prove to her he wants more than sex. When they’re alone, the pages soon heat up.

Jonas and Deanna are a magical couple. I like how Deanna fights him and it takes time before she’s willing to give herself to him. This is a book where the hero knows he has feelings for the heroine but it is about her accepting him as a changed man.

I like the way her twin brother sticks around and doesn’t like her getting hurt. All round this is a real page turner and a wonderful charming read.

When Jeff agreed to be the sperm donor to his best friend Beth, he never expected a tragedy to leave his newborn and three year old motherless. That's exactly what's happened, though, and it's totally thrown his life into chaos: his lover has left him, his house isn't anywhere near childproof and his boss feels the restaurant has been patient enough with the time off. Donny has always known he wanted to be in childcare, and he just finished his degree in early childhood education. He didn't count on people being less than thrilled to hire him when they find out that not only is he a male nanny, but a gay one at that. Job hunting has been frustrating to say the least, so when he knocks on Jeff's door and is greeted by the sounds of things breaking and a pair of screaming children, he thinks, just maybe, he can begin this particular interview with a trial by fire. Becoming the nanny to Jeff's children just might be a dream come true for Danny, and exactly what Jeff needs, but are either one of them ready to really be a family?

Review:
Donald Gleason shows up for his three o’clock nanny interview and is met by chaos.  Jeff Roberts is struggling with being a full time dad to three-year-old Robin and three-month-old Kimberly.  Their mother is recently deceased and his partner walked out on him because he didn’t want to be a parent.  He needs help, but hiring a male nanny isn’t exactly what he had in mind.  However, Donny passes his trial by fire with flying colors.  Jeff is comfortable letting Donny take care of his kids, now he just has to fight his growing attraction for the younger man.
Daddy, Daddy & Me was a great story filled with all the things I love – well written characters, a despicable villain, and a fluid romance.  The relationship between Jeff and Donny didn’t feel rushed; it flowed naturally even though they got together very quickly.  The only thing I didn’t like was Jeff’s reaction to an unexpected loss, but Donny helped him see what was truly important.  I couldn’t help but to love these guys together and enjoyed the ease in which Donny stepped into the lives of Jeff and the children.
Lately, I’ve been reading a lot of M/M nanny stories and loving them and Sean Michaels’ Daddy, Daddy & Me did not disappoint.  This was the first story by Mr. Michaels that I’ve read and I wouldn’t hesitate to read more of his work.

Do younger men treat a woman better? At least that is what Karen Wild is about to find out. This forty years old, divorced mother of two children is about to find out what being a cougar is all about. She believed she could battle anything that came her way...that is until Nick Marshall entered her life.

She never anticipated Nick, thirteen years her junior, being interested in her. He’s hot and he wants Karen all to himself.

Join this cougar as she learns to accept her sexuality and finally learns what it means to love and how a younger man can melt the years away.

Review:
Crescent does it again... this is the second of Crescent's books I have had the pleasure of reading recently and I have to say, she out-did herself on this cougar-esque love story. Young Nick and Karen Wild weren't expecting what they encountered at the office (don't we all wish we could have such an office romance that flourishes into more).

Crescent has Nick's, blunt and to t he point, attitude and sexual cravings of Karen down to a T. I love how she develops the characters, grows their attraction and eventually, slams them together.  *Claps hands* Love those kind of moments.

Crescent's writing style carries through on this novel (as she really hooked me in on one of her earlier writings). The tenderness (in his own way) that Nick shows his pre-love for Karen is found in his dislike for Karen's ex-husband and the way he treated her. Every woman needs a man like Nick (for ego boosts and...*cough* everything else*.

I look forward to more books by Crescent as she never ceases to amaze me with her storytelling abilities. I definitely recommend A Wild Older Woman to the ladies looking for a fast paced love story, and to show, older woman are HOT.

Damien Dracon is back in Devon Falls, and he is about to woo the one lady he left three years ago. Family secrets and youthful pride forced him to give up the one good thing in his life: the love of Alicia Stevens. What he doesn't expect is that Alicia has a secret of her own, and it may just tear them apart.

Can two former lovers find it in themselves to forgive one another and let love grow between them? Or will past secrets haunt them and tear them apart?

Review:
Damien and Alicia are both dealing with broken hearts and the loss of their infant daughter, in their own ways. Delight adds such a tremendous style to bring the reader into the story and feel for each of their pains and sufferings. Empathy, sympathy and heartbreak can be felt.

I have read all of these Devon Falls books by Delight and I have to say, as each one moves to a new couple in town... Delight strengthens the bond of love with each person. I completely adore the characters, their connections and the way Delight entwines Damien and Alicia by having such a tight connection from their past. The brooding Damien and sweet Alicia, deserve their story to be told and Delight does a magnificent job of doing it.

I look forward to the fourth installment of the Devon Falls series and hope Delight plans on continuing the series further. This book can be a stand alone but I recommend any lover of romance to start from the beginning and fall in love with Devon Falls and its residents as I have.

The Marriage List by Jean C. Joachim

Can happily ever after start with a list? Grey Andrews thinks so. After ten years of working, saving and investing, Grey finally achieved a level of wealth that allows him to do what he wants with his life. He needs a woman to share it with, but not any woman, the perfect woman. A woman who has the three essential qualities on his marriage list. But after three years of searching he isn’t any closer to finding her than he was when he started out.
Carrie Tucker, an aspiring mystery writer and divorcée struggling to make it in the world of advertising, turned her focus from men to her career after dating too many creeps and losers. She’s finally earned her big break, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the first female creative director in a hot New York ad agency. So what if it means working nights and weekends? It’s not like she has a social life anyway.
Is the marriage list a failure or will a chance meeting at a fiction-writing conference prove the list to be the key to Grey’s happiness after all?

Review:
The camaraderie between Grey and his best friends, the Four Horsemen, is so perfect. It's like I was a fly on the wall listening...and Grey's worries with finding the perfect woman/match for him... if only most men thought like that. Joachim touches every possible aspect of a relation with Grey and Carrie. I especially love the sibling connection with Grey and Jenna- their dinner conversation had me smiling making me recall similar conversations with my older brother- realistic and heart-warming.

The love-hate moment when Carrie and Grey first meet is superb. I fall for those genuine moments every time- yes, I'm a a sap especially when I know what happens later down the line. Joachim doesn't fail to entertain, create a well written love story and believable characters. And ah, the marriage list Grey has...and shares with Jenna, who inadvertently...well, read it and you'll see. LOVED it! This is a list women have... not the men. *Nice little twist Ms. Joachim!*
Joachim delves deep into Grey and Carrie's lives individually and as a couple, she leaves no stone unturned in The Marriage List.
This is a must-have love story for all romance readers. It gives you back the feeling that true loved does exist.

Left alone and desolate the day before Valentine's Day, Kevin's bad luck at love has just struck again. Deserted at the boarding gate by the man he thought was his lifetime partner, his struggling self-esteem takes a low blow for the worst. Overcome by grief in the unlikeliest of places, his moment of tears and sadness is interrupted by “Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome.”

Consumed by sudden passion born of desperation and desire, his chance meeting with the intriguing man breathes hope into his shattered dreams. Seared inside and out by the heat of his lover’s haunting blue eyes, their hot one-night stand could be the true love he’s searched a lifetime for. Or he may be destined to live an empty life without the one thing his heart desires. Only time will tell, in Broken Hearts & Candy Kisses.

Review:
Hunt really makes you feel for Kevin- the broken heart from the first sentence of this novel- you can empathize with him. The emotions are spelled out so quick, you can't help but grasp the heartbreak.

Then in the middle of LAX... in walks Brett.- his Knight in Shining Armor comes to the rescue.

While this is a fast-paced novel, Hunt captures tenderness, compassion and... love. Her writing style is fabulous, creative and one to watch in the future. I can see Hunt going places in the industry. She has a talent for weaving believable character connection, story lines and dialogue.
While Kevin is expecting a one-night, pick up in the bar kind of sex affair to drown his broken heart, Brett has something else in mind. Do not miss this one! A definite keeper!

Can an online hook up turn into something more?

Find out as one gay male runs into novices online and helps initiate them into male on male sex in sexy detail

Review:
Sheridan describes a relationship evolving from a simple conversation about opera online. Ryan, the recipient of the story-tellers' (first person written) tale, wasn't sure if he was gay, bi or neither. But once in the bedroom, Ryan proved himself.
The innuendos, the comparisons and Ryan's exclamation as soon as the deed was done (Can we exchange hotmails?) made me chuckle. This is a light-hearted M/M romance...then you add in Kevin. Another conquer of the story-teller.
Sheridan has a way of telling a story... developing a slight connection and even making the scenes vivid, descriptive and fun. This is a short and fast paced novel with many elements to make a successful read. I thoroughly enjoyed the novel and look forward to more writings of Sheridan.

Sometimes it’s the person you least expect who can satisfy all your desires.

By day Amber’s a librarian, and by night she hides away writing erotic romance novels. She has just one problem—not enough sexual experience to pull from. A recent steamy dream leaves Amber wondering if her neighbor Jax might be just the guy who can help her. He seems almost perfect to use as a sexual guinea pig, especially since she doesn’t have to worry about falling in love with him.

Jax has lived next door to Amber for a year and has tried everything he can think of to get her to notice him, but it hasn’t worked. Until recently. When Amber approaches him asking for his help, he’s ready to jump on board. When he learns exactly what kind of help she needs, he’s definitely willing.

Becoming involved with someone like Jax simply isn’t an option for Amber. He barely works, can’t manage his money, and has no ambition in life. So why does he suddenly seem so right for her?

Review:
She's got the look... the hot naughty librarian look but what she doesn't have is the experience or the man. The book starts with a nice scene with Amber dreaming of Jax- but hey, what woman wouldn't. Jax is... hotter than hot.
Wolfe weaves a delightful erotic tale of a woman realizing her sexuality in Amber's Muse. She left me wanting more, craving more and... oh, so much more. The opposites attract come to light in this short. I love the way Wolfe 'digs' into Jax's life and how Amber realizes all the things 'wrong' with Jax are exactly what she wants from a man.
I look forward to more work by Wolfe in the future. She is definitely an author to watch in the near future. her writing style is fun, lively and very vivid.

Did you ever do anything in college that was considered “outrageous” by your friends? Have one amazing night with a sex god only to never see him again? Play naughty sorority games that left you breathless and yet sexually satisfied? Or did you perhaps want to join your roommate in a naughty ménage a trois?

Campus Sexploits is the first book in a series of anthologies all about the fantasy fun days of youth. Four naughty college/university themed erotic short stories to tantalize and tease the senses while giving readers a little taste of the wickedly erotic worlds these four fantastic authors can weave. Worlds of incredible earth shattering sexual freedom involving college or university students and the sexual antics they participate in. Worlds you can just feel yourself fall into...

Review:
While I am a hard one to impress when it comes to sexual exploration and unusual sexual situations, this collection of short stories had me hooked.
The first short in this anthology by Abby Hayes had me smiling as I read the antics of Sarah, Gwen and the Professor. Hayes builds characters with meaning, substance and a great little tell-all college sexual experience. Kudos to her for making me smile.
CM Owens continues with another delightful short with Lucy and Rob. The dialogue kept me interested while the story line was fast paced and enjoyable. This is the first I have read of Owens, and I look forward to finding more writings. As Rob downed his scotch before Lucy lead him upstairs to show him something, I felt tingles with anticipation. Great job!
Let's not forget Willow Leigh and JT Seate's contributions to this anthology. This was a fabulous collection of new authors shining bright. While there were some slight POV issues, they were easily worked through and did not take away from the stories.

The very last thing Ashlee expected was to meet a hot, younger guy Nick, at her boyfriend’s funeral. The tall, soft-spoken man comforted her with stories of her boyfriend since he studied under him. Grateful for Nick’s help and the shared connection they both shared with the deceased, they kept in contact.

Ashlee managed to ignore his hints for drinks and meetings putting it down to politeness. He felt sorry for her. There was no way he could be interested in a woman at least a decade older than him. That was until her work posse caught scent of the story and urged her to give the man a chance. Ashlee knew she had to be the most reluctant cougar in the history of womankind, but what did she have to lose?

Review:
Hot Flash to say the least- Wyatt produces and creates such a believable
The humor, forget the fact that Ashlee meets Nick... at a funeral- that in itself is...a WOW moment but Wyatt knows how to bring the characters to life. This cougar tale had me wanting so much more of Wyatt's writings, I will be looking for more in the future from her.
The dialogue and Ashlee's forwardness (you could warm me up- love it) throughout the story had me rooting for her and the love they shared. The tenderness, yet the hot sex scenes, are ones many women crave and Wyatt pinned the emotions perfectly.
I applaud Wyatt's well received story and am in search of more cougar stories- gotta love those women and the men they adore!

When Jed and Annette spend a weekend in a luxury hotel, they're planning to take full advantage of the hot tub and large bed - preferably with a third party. Annette's never been with another woman before, but she's eager to experience some Sapphic delight. When the couple meets waitress Tamara at the restaurant they're lunching at, they agree she's perfect in many ways; but is she on the menu?

Review:
Felthouse double surprises me with this menage. Annette and Jed, happily committed couple but yet very open-minded about their relationship think they have found the perfect 'bed mate' for the might.

The first surprise comes in the way the duo think they manipulate sweet Tamara. The second turn of events, Tamara knew all about it and wanted the same...a menage. A night of unadulterated sex. The trio get everything they want and more. While the sex scene is a little quick (the book is only 13 pages), I praise Felthouse for creating a perfect night of shared love, passion and eroticism.

Felthouse delights my desires and satisfies my erotic craving in this short and extremely fast read. I'd love to see her elaborate and make this trio a yearly holiday event. The last two sentences “We'd definitely be returning to that restaurant. It had a menu with a difference, and our dessert had been quite delicious!” left me laughing and hungry for more.

Dar's at the ski hill with his best friend Perry, acting as Perry's wing man with the ski bunnies. It's a small price to pay for an all-expenses paid ski trip, especially as he's not interested in the ladies himself. When the most gorgeous stud Dar's ever seen heads right for them, Perry's worried about the competition, but Dar's worried he's drooling all over himself. Could the man really be coming over just to introduce himself to Dar?

Review:
Life for Dar is... unusual to say the least. Winter does a great  job building the life of Dar (Darwin's nickname) in the beginning but one he get Miles and Dar into the bedroom... it falls apart. The description is vague- now, I'm all for leaving some of the reading to the readers' imagination but Winter left too much unsaid, too much open and too much out.
This book is classified as BDSM (according to tags on amazon) but that is greatly debatable. No sign of even soft core BDSM.  The fellatio scene is VERY vague, lasted maybe a nano-second and left much to be desired.
More character development between Dar and Miles was necessary to make this short more desirable. I had expected much more from this author and story.

Resident medical doctor and Vampire, Valek Ruzik fears the day his ward would come of age and blossom into a fine woman, and he is forced to confront his own motives as time is of the essence once his past catches up to him, and their lives become endangered...

As genocide and war threatens their secret society, the dictator in power is ready to wipe out Valek's race, but Charlotte will not allow that to happen. Fighting for the only one she's ever loved and truly believed in, she will do whatever it takes to save their love...before the sun comes up and light takes over.

Review:
Can fate win over scheming and treachery?  When it comes to Valek and Charlotte’s fate, all we can do is hope!

Charlotte was abandoned as a baby.  For her whole life, all she has ever known is the magical world of paranormals.  Things are changing though and so is Charlotte.  Her feelings for her adoptive father are becoming deep and strong and further away from the acceptable father/daughter relationship.  She is falling in love with Valek.

Valek has fought his animalist hunger for Charlotte for almost two decades.  He has done so from the very moment he found her.  His protectiveness has always won out.  Now new and foreign feelings are rising in him and one look into Charlotte’s mind, and he knows that their futures are about to change forever.

Hatred runs strong in the veins of the Central European Magic Regime.  The Regime and their leader, Vladislov, believe only the “light” should shine and all “darkness” should be extinguished…permanently.  First on their agenda is the mass genocide of the vampires.  Now they will burn for all their crimes, and Vlad will take great pleasure in watching it happen.

I so wanted to love this book.  The reviews are raving and amazing, but I just couldn’t.  I just liked it.  The writing was well done, but the storyline didn’t capture me.  It is a great idea, so don’t get me wrong.  I just can’t put my finger on it.  I have no problem with the father/daughter relationship turned lovers’ aspect, because hello…they are not blood related and sexy vampire.

I think part of my problem was Valek’s relationship with the other vampires.  Valek is amazingly strong.  I mean heck, he raised a human child from infancy to adulthood without one little nibble.  He was reserved and weak around other vampires, but then he would show moments of strength.  The author did write some great interplay between the characters though, and shouldn’t be missed.

I think what also bothered me, was according to the synopsis, Charlotte played a HUGE role in the battle.  While she had moments of amazing strength, she was also a cowering young lady, just stepping back and letting fate hand her really bad cards.  I can’t recall one moment where she actually stood up to impossible obstacles.  She was a passenger on this trip, but I can’t really blame her for that either.  She is just a young woman, thrust into the big scary world of the supernaturals.  On that note though, she does live and understand this world.  She has lived her whole life in it.  I think her greatest gift to the story was the strength that gave Valek.  She did hold her head up high and follow through during some pretty horrific ordeals, when I would have told Valek and the rest of them to piss off.

The Vampire’s Daughteris a YA story about the dark side of vampirism, where the monsters are real and truly scary.  I have to give kudos to the amazing author, Ms. Leighton.  She has really started to make a name for herself and if she is writing such detailed and captivating stories now, just watch out world.

So if you are tired of sweet affectionate vampires and want to experience the dark underbelly of the paranormal, then pick up The Vampire’s Daughter.  I still found this universe intriguing and captivating, with oodles of plot and amazing characters.  A good story when you want something a bit dark and sinister.

When Leah loses her fiancé, Mark, in Afghanistan, it takes nearly a year to get to the point where she’s ready to live again. Although she doesn’t want an emotional commitment, a night of consensual sex, even with a stranger, might help bring her some closure after Mark’s death. Enlisting the services of Madame Evangeline’s high-end, online dating service, One Night Stand, promises exactly what Leah is looking for—sex with a man she doesn’t have to see again, but one who will satisfy her physical needs now that she's ready to move on with her life.

Jackson Castillo has no desire to go on a date with one of Evangeline’s clients. One Night Stand uses his hotel for its client’s rendezvous, but otherwise, he never gets involved. When Eve threatens to take her business elsewhere unless he helps her with a particular case, he’s no fool. He’ll go on the date. But he won’t sleep with the woman.

When one thing leads to another, his good intentions to stay out of the bedroom with Leah are shattered. The sex is phenomenal, but there’s more to Leah he wants to explore. After she leaves the next morning without a goodbye, he’s both disappointed and royally pissed. Will he let her go or find a way to convince her she’s ready…to feel again?

Review:
I WANT MORE!!!
I want more 1 Night Stand, more Jackson and Leah, just more, more, more.  Yes, I’m greedy, but darn it the ending was just…UGH!
I will have to say Valerie Mann really kicked this series off right, with a great big bang.  If I wasn’t already invested in 1NS, I sure would be now.
Leah lost her heart and fiancé a year ago.  On the anniversary of this death, she is determined to move on.  She sure didn’t expect the man that was standing in front of her when she opened her hotel room door in Las Vegas.  Is she really ready to follow through with her plan?
Jackson is not a happy camper.  One of his largest clients just threatened to pull her account if he didn’t do a favor for her.  Now he is stuck going on one of Madame Eve’s blind dates.
These two sizzled and burned up the pages.  I enjoyed Leah’s determination and I chuckled at Jackson’s lack of willpower.  It was wonderful!  I think my only problem with the story is the length.  This storyline could have been used as a full length novel.  I would have been enamored with their journey from start to finish.  *sigh*
Once you read To Feel Again, you will see why it is such a popular series for Decadent Publishing.  The series is growing every day.  Go take a look.  You will have lots to enjoy.  This series covers most every genre available.
Start your journey of 1 Night Stand off right and read To Feel Again.  Jackson and Leah are spectacular and shouldn’t be missed!  Let your new obsession begin!

When Regan is paid to kill a powerful vampire, she has no idea she's about to meet the man who can never give her up.

Regan is the best vampire hunter money can buy. But when she's paid to kill one of the most powerful vampires in existence, she doesn't realize she's in way over her head. Things go terribly wrong, and there is no escape...

Zarek is so powerful, he scares other vampires. One little hunter should be no challenge. However, Regan is different, and as soon as he sees her, he will do anything to keep her. But she's a stubborn woman who refuses to let someone else control her.

When a powerful enemy comes to town, she's forced to trust Zarek with her life. Who is the larger threat? The man out to destroy humankind? Or the vampire determined to own her heart?

Review:
I really liked this book.  I couldn’t put it down, but I did stop to make notes on what a jerk Zarek was and trust me, that was not the word I used.
Regan has a problem or two or more.  Her problem is pretty much any supernatural being breathing or not breathing.  Her favorite targets are vampires.  Now she has been hired to take down the most dangerous of them all, Zarek.
Zarek is a force to be reckoned with.  Even the Vampire King fears him.  Now he’s got this hot little hunter after him.  She irritates and amuses him both at the same time.  Something like that you don’t let go, and he doesn’t plan to.
The Devil’s Trap is book two in the In Darkness We Dwell series.  In this series, Ms. Ravena’s male protagonists are well to put it quite plainly, male chauvinistic pigs with a capital “P”.  You just love to hate them, and then just love them.  In the first book, Fear the Darkness, I thought Vahe was bad.  Well let me tell you Zarek writes a whole new book of Neanderthal.
Regan was a hoot.  There were times in the story that I was cracking up, but my favorite character of all is Laedan.  I want wrap him up and take him home with me.  He is funny, sexy and just plain HOT!  His moments with Zarek and Regan were priceless at times.
The Devil’s Trap is gritty, sexy and at times shocking.  These vampires are not warm and cuddly by any means.  So if you want something with a bit more bite, read The Devil’s Trap.  This reviewer can’t wait for the next installment of this series.

Two wounded souls, one blind and the other scarred, are matched up by the famous Madame Evangeline—neither one expecting more than a brief meeting of two bodies in the dark for one night.

Xaviera Navarro had it all, a wonderful career ahead of her running her family’s wine business, a sexy fiancé, and her dream-wedding around the corner, but that all changed in the blink of an eye. A freak accident has left the Navarro wine heiress blind with no future other than the company of her seeing-eye dog, Lucy. After licking her wounds, she finally is tired of her own company and ventures out in hopes of finding a man who might be strong enough to stand beside her but not in front of her. If she can’t have that, she’ll settle for a night of hot loving before returning home.

Ignatius "Nate" Ramirez is not only a scarred fire-jumper with a justifiably bad attitude toward women, he’s also under strict orders by his Captain that if he doesn’t get laid on his vacation, he’s going to bench him. After finding out about 1Night Stand, he requests Madame Evangeline find him the perfect fantasy woman to have under the cover of darkness. Figuring he’ll have a better chance with his date with all the lights out, he wasn’t expecting a feisty, no punches pulled heiress to knock him off his feet.

A blind woman and a scarred fire-jumper should be a match made in heaven, but will Nate and Xaviera manage to leave their baggage at the door and find love all in one night.

Review:
What a great short story!!  It had just the right amount of, well just about everything.  Blink Need had anguish, turmoil, sex, passion and it was all wrapped up nicely in a really quick short read.

Nate is frustrated and angry about people’s perception of him and his injuries.  Xaviera is determined to give up men all together. Well she will after one last night of passion, believing no man wants “damaged goods”.
The pain these two people feel is front and center.  The conflict is placed perfectly.  It felt natural and not over the top.  I enjoyed that there was no drawn out misunderstandings and over exaggerated anger, just direct and to the point.  It was nice when the two of them finally came together, it was special and WOW are they a vocal couple.  They fit together wonderfully.
As with most of the stories in the 1 Night Stand series, all you can do is wave good bye to the characters and wish them luck.  That is exactly what I want for Xaviera and Nate.  They are two tortured souls that have come together to heal and all I want for them is the best.  Thank you Ms. Trace.  Blind Need is a wonderful take on the 1NS series and is simply delightful.

At the end of his obligated commitment to the Space Service, Frey Berger decides to stay on Earth to further experience human emotions rather than return to Ginnun where his intended has already mated with another. Looking for real love and someone to accept him for what he is, Frey enlists in Madame Evangeline’s popular dating service. Although he does not understand the concept of a one-night stand, he hopes to find his perfect mate. If he fails, he risks being alone on Earth for the rest of his life.

Carrie Cooper’s husband divorced her for another woman who could provide him with children, leaving her with little self-confidence and no desire to let a man hurt her again. When her best friend convinces her to join a dating service, Carrie decides one night of passion is harmless since there’s no commitment after the night is over.

Although several misunderstandings nearly derail them before the date even begins, Frey and Carrie end up closer than they ever believed possible. Still, Frey needs to convince Carrie her perfect mate isn’t human at all, and that one night can lead to a forever love.

Review:
This was a delightful solid 5 Cups for me.  Writing is exciting and new, not to mention sizzling hot.
Frey Berger is actually traveling where no Ginnun has ever traveled before.  No not Earth, he is already here.  He is traveling into the world of feelings and emotions.  He wants to experience sensual sex and a mate that will love him for the rest of his life.  On his planet, emotions are never shown or felt.  Frey has always felt different, like he never belonged.  He wants to be loved and to love back.  After his intended mate marries his best friend, he does something no one on his planet would ever expect.  He decides to stay on Earth indefinitely and find a human mate.
Carrie was crushed the moment her high school sweetheart left her.  Crushed again, when he remarried and then once more when they had a baby together.  A baby she would never be able to have.  After her best friend, Tamara, talks her into using Madame Eve’s 1 Night Stand dating services, all she can do is second guess herself.  Her confidence is beyond low.  Then in walks a sex god, maybe things are looking up.
Their single night of courtship is a rocky one.  One problem or mishap after another, but you can tell that they have something amazing together.  Frey knows that Carrie is the woman for him, now he needs to help her believe that.  After a night of passion, Carrie moves on thinking Frey is committed for only one night.  Now he is in a race to change her mind and heal her heart ache.  He needs to convince her to accept a life with him as his mate.
These two lovers were wonderful.  You could almost feel Frey and Carrie’s insecurities.  Ms. Subject did a great job conveying their emotions and pulling me into their heads.  The writing was tight and the flow was smooth.  Celestial Seduction is a great addition to the series.  I like that most every genre is covered with this series.  Decadent Publishing hit a home run when they thought of 1NS.
Always nagging at the back of my mind while reading this book is…does her best friend have a story?  I am going to have to do a massive search to find out, because it sure sounds like it would be a different take on the normal “happily ever after” that the series is known for.
Celestial Seduction is a sensual sci-fi addition to the 1NS series.  This story is refreshing and shouldn’t be missed.  There is nothing like a hot alien finding his intended mate here on Earth.  So grab this quick read, you won’t be sorry.  I sure wasn’t!

Once you get the zing you can’t go back.

Jane West has everything a woman could want. A job in a small Montana town’s only adult store, two busy young boys and one dead husband. Everything except a little excitement--a little zing. But that changes one summer morning at a garage sale when her kids buy some garden gnomes.

Now someone wants those gnomes and will let nothing get in their way. Including Jane. This new excitement for Jane spells trouble for a relationship with new neighbor--and hot fireman--Ty Strickland. Can Jane and Ty handle a relationship meddling mother-in-law, crazy kids, and stay alive while trying to solve the mystery of the garden gnomes?

Review:
Nothing happens in Montana.  Nothing at all.  And nothing exciting ever really happens to Jane West, who happens to live in Montana, until her two sons buy a pair of garden gnomes at a garage sale.  Then she becomes involved in exploding houses, stolen horse sperm, runaway demolition derby cars, and all types of craziness.  All this, and a handsome neighbor fireman coming into her life.
Gnome on the Range was written in first person, and is in some ways like reading a single mother’s diary.  One minute the main character of Jane is thinking about the handsome fireman who has just moved in nearby, and the next she’s dealing with her four year old son getting his arm stuck in a pipe in their backyard.  The author writes with a very original style sharing Jane’s “motherly” thoughts along with her lustful and curious thoughts.  I laughed out loud during one scene near the end of the book where she’s about to have sex on the kitchen table and looks up at the ceiling to notice a spaghetti stain still there from when one of her sons was 2 years old.
The book had a bit of a slow start for me, with mostly what seemed to be single mother stories, but did pick up and kept me reading.  I do recommend this book as a great read, and especially recommend mothers read it!  They will identify with some of the main character’s problems trying to juggle two young children and also avoid being killed by some maniac before she can finally have sex with the handsome fireman!  Definitely a great book!

Once active in the BDSM lifestyle, Myrna Doherty was betrayed by the very man who’d promised to love her and her submissive obedience forever: her husband and Master. When Grant leaves both her and Caelan behind Myrna vows to never allow herself to depend upon any Dom again. She never expects to go back on her vow, but then again she never expects her home to be invaded by Doms and subs for the holidays in the disguise of her family. Panicked at the idea of alienating what little family she has left, she comes up with a plan. She turns to the one man left in the lifestyle she trusts: Amery Alastar, Caelan’s former mentor. She prays that he’ll agree to help ease her back into the now unfamiliar world of BDSM. After all it’s only temporary - until Christmas is over and she can return to her normal life. At least it’s what she tells herself, never realizing Amery has a completely different outcome in mind: he wants her submission and not just temporarily.

Review:
I can count on my hand the number of authors that are auto buys for me. I know that any book that I read by them will be wonderful. This author is one of those authors that get it right for me and this book does not disappoint. Once I started reading it I could not put it down.Caelan is one of my favorite Doms and to see his mother get her own story was a delight.
In this book we get to meet Myrna and watch her story unfold. Amery has always wanted Myrna. He thought he had his chance all those years ago when her husband left her but more than thirty years later Myrna is still hiding. Amery has reached the end of his rope and decides he has waited long enough and lets Myrna know that he intends to make her his.
I adored Amery and Myrna. He is a wonderful Dom and wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to Myrna. He will do anything for her and watching Amery help Myrna find herself made for a great read. Myrna is a strong woman when she has the right people standing beside her. She has listened to her ex and her doubts for to long. Seeing her grow and take back her life was wonderful. The two make a great couple. The love that they share as friends and lovers shines right off of the pages.
Not only are we treated to a grand story that was full of emotions but we also get to visit with many of the characters from previous books and get to see all of their connections to each other. I enjoyed visiting with everyone and hope that there will be more stories to come.

How bad could it be, Nicole Martin asked herself when she discovered her options were to take the role or face criminal charges with her 'big' sister, Brandy? Actually, it didn't sound nearly as bad as she'd expected once the producer/blackmailer explained. The filming would be done in low light situations. No one would ever get a really good look at her face. And it was just acting anyway, right? They weren't actually going to do all those things.... Rating: carnal/erotica-adult situations and language, mild/moderate bdsm, multiple sexual partners, multiple heroes, voyeurism, male and female sibling voyeurism, blindfolded sex, countless ménages through oilrigs and sandwiches, BDSM rack sexual device, spanking, cum shots everywhere, group sex, dick jacking, dick piercing/metal galore, sexual domination, forced seduction, training of a submissive, constant fondling, constant head, constant sex on camera, violence through fights from Doms and Doms in training, and lots of male possessiveness.

Review:
How could you resist a book with a title, Snow White and the seven hunks? I couldn’t and I would highly recommend this book.

The plot pulled me in from the beginning. Two sisters agree to star in a reality porn movie in the hope they won’t go to jail. Brandy, the oldest sister has been laundering money. I enjoyed the interesting turn on the porn movie. How the men had to work with these two women, one they didn’t like all that much and the other they couldn’t wait to take and share.

Such a shocking concept for a story but what I love about Kimberly Zant is she hasn’t made these characters unbelievable. The men sexually responded to the other woman, Brandy, regardless of their feelings for, Nicole. Do not be put off by this because this author manages to get inside the men’s heads and you see who their feelings are for.

These characters are well written and thoroughly enjoyable. The alpha males really work and Nicole is a perfect submissive.

One sizzling night together has her yearning for more, but what he wants in the bedroom is a threat to everything she’s ever believed.

Chad Davis has always had a thing for the sexy doctor. Assigned to protect Katie, he is determined to bring down her ex. His reasons are personal, but one erotic night together in his bed is all it takes for his priorities to shift. He is not giving her up, no matter how much she insists she is not right for him.

Can Chad help Katie unlock her hidden desires and prove to her she means more to him than a fling?

Review:
Protection never came any hotter!
Katie has a psychotic ex-lover hot on her trail.  She has moved on in her life, but never to the fullest.  She believes she will never trust and love again, not after the hellish relationship she barely escaped from four years ago.
Unknown to Katie, she has had a silent protector.  She has always known that her two overbearing but loving brothers were only a phone call away, but she never knew about Chad Davis.  Her co-worker was hired by her brothers to watch out for her, though he would have personally have done it for free.  He has secrets of his own.  His desire for Katie isn’t the only thing he is hiding.
As the danger rises, these two people find solace in each other’s arms, but time is running out and things are getting more dangerous.  These two must work together both in and out of the bedroom, but one miscalculation can ruin it all.
Though you know who the bad guy is, you can still feel the tension and suspense.  Ms. Fox writes hot and steamy sex scenes and fast and furious action sequences.  Their passion was burning up the pages and I couldn’t put the book down.  These two damaged people are perfect for each other and their journey to happiness is riddled with road blocks.  When their greatest hurdle was in front of them, it broke my heart.  I was elated when they found each other again, but I wish more would have gone into the eventual reconciliation.  Ms. Fox kept me on pins and needles the whole time.  Page after page, Bound to Protect had me engaged, from the blazing sex to the heart pounding suspense.
Bound to Protect is an enjoyable sensual quick read.  This contemporary book hit all the right spots for me and I look forward to reading other novels by Alyssa Fox in the future.
