Veterinarian Pamela Wilson frequently ran away from home to get attention from her status-conscious, preoccupied parents. Years ago she’d met a man who loved her unreservedly, but her parents didn’t approve of his blue-collar mechanic job, so she’d run away from him, too. When the ambitious lawyer she’s marrying answers a phone call while she’s walking down the aisle, it’s the last straw! She runs away again, this time to a cabin her parents don’t know about, owned by the mechanic.

Will he let her into his life again? Will she finally stop running away and make the right decision for her future?

Review:
If you have doubts about getting married, then you really shouldn’t do it! Pamela had her doubts but didn’t act upon them until she walked down the aisle and her fiancĂ© not only had his cell phone on, but actually took a phone call while she was walking towards him to be his wife! Pamela was a wonderful character who had to battle internal demons in order to be true to herself and her happiness.

If you are a true romantic, then this book is for you. It will leave you cheering for Pamela as she sets her mind on finding happiness and once she comes to grips with what she needs, she is determined to go after it. She walked away from true love once before, will she make the same mistake twice?

The only character in this book I couldn’t truly believe was the mom and her actions, or maybe it was the characters’ reactions to her. You will end up cheering for Pamela while cursing at her mother. An amazing love story that is very well written.

Lynne had to videotape the supernova, hot sex the night she landed two men in her bed because she knew it would never happen again. Kurt is sweet and sexy. Troy is dominating and masterful. Both of her new lovers fulfill her better than her deepest fantasy man. How could she pick just one? Will it make a difference that they are both over twenty years younger than her? Will the flames of their desire burn out after this single night of passion is over?

And more importantly, can her new lovers pull together when it really counts and protect her from a crazy stalker trying to kill her? Only time will tell.

Review:
Falling for your younger male best friend is one thing, falling for a complete stranger at an Elvis impersonation concert is another. Yet Lynne does both, but doesn’t quite manage to share her feelings for the men in a timely fashion due to hang-ups about her age. This unlikely trio has an amazingly hot love life which becomes blazing after negative reactions to an older woman dating not one, but two, younger hot guys.

Ms. Lyons and Ms. Denis write an erotic romance that makes the reader want to be sandwiched between their two young studly heroes. While part of Lynne’s personality are a little hard to imagine for a forty year old, her character is full of vibrancy, emotion, and real life situations. The romance will have you cheering while the erotic elements will have you wishing. Super fun read for anyone wondering if they could handle two lovers who are so different.

It isn’t easy holding onto your virginity in a succubus Pleasure House, but Piper Foxgrove has managed for decades. As a rare succubus-weretiger Halfling, Piper dreams of true love─to the consternation of her mother. Forced to work with a bad-tempered, good-looking werewolf looking for his nephew, Piper’s determined to ignore his sexiness. Unfortunately, her succubus half decides he’s the key to unlocking her powers while her recently awakened weretiger half thinks he’s perfect mate material.

Connor Griffin’s brother died because of “soul suckering” succubi, so he doesn’t trust them. But Connor needs to find his nephew─the Veil can be dangerous─and worry makes him take drastic measures, like working with a succubus. But something about Piper calls to his wolf and has him doing things he never thought he’d do, like work with a succubus, lust after a succubus, and fall in love with a sassy, sexy succubus with tiger-striped hair.

Review:
What a wonderful story to read. I have not read too many paranormal romances but this was a hit. At first, it took me a few pages to get into the story. Once I was taken in, I did not want to stop turning the pages.

Piper is what they call a halfling. She is part Sucubus and Weretiger. Her mom sets her up to meet with a werewolf named Connor. Unbeknownst to Piper’s mom and Piper herself, she starts falling for Connor who hates Sucubus with passion. Connor is trying hard to not to fall for Piper but it might be useless.

The story line is fascinating to read. We go from seeing a few people who do not get a long to a sweet romance to people who have prejudice coming together to defend each other.

Well worth the read.

On a secluded beach in North Carolina, three lonely people find hope in each other.

Trish Evers is an artist and single mother, who has inherited her grandmother's Bed and Breakfast in a North Carolina coastal town. Though she must sell the house, she decides to bring her daughter to the beach for one last summer vacation in her childhood town.

Bella is a six-year-old girl who has Down syndrome. Rejected by her father, Trish, is the only parent she's ever known. Bella likes to explore the beach and has a tendency to wander off. One day, Bella goes exploring on her own, and Trish finds her in the company of an intriguing stranger.

Dan Conway is a U.S. Marine, who had been born into a family of Marines. Now blind as a result of combat injuries and unable to "suit up," he feels he no longer has a purpose in life. He's come home to the beach, where he spends his days in solitude. Dan must learn to believe in himself and to love life again, which he begins to do through his interactions with Bella and Trish. When a hurricane strikes, and Bella wanders off again, her only hope for rescue is Dan.

Working within the confines of his blindness, he must overcome his fear of failure and recall his training in order to search for the little girl and bring her to safety.

Review:
Single mom Trish Evers has a lot on her plate, from cleaning out her grandmother's B&B to dealing with her ex-husband and his custody issues to the mysterious ex-Marine neighbor and add in her mentally challenged daughter, Isabella. Her summer on the North Carolina beach will be life turning point in her life, physically and emotionally. With the help of mysterious neighbor, Dan Conway, Trush learns of true, unconditional love.

Over the weeks, Trish and Dan develop the sweetest romance ever witnessed. His caring and understanding of Bella's condition proves he has great compassion. Trish and Dan's relationship evolves from friendship to admiration to respect and love. Both want what's best for Bella and her development and stability.

When her ex-husband, who's fighting her for custody of their daughter, shows up unannounced, Trish has to stand firm for Bella's well-being. In preparations of leaving the beach side residence with a pending hurricane coming, Bella disappears. During the ordeal, Trish relies on Dan, who is blind due to an IED explosion overseas (happened during a scene involving Trish's ex's company) to find Bella. Dan, who is still dealing with some issues from his blindness and Marine life, must set aside his emotions and troubles to find Bella.

Springsteen creates three of the most memorable characters in this novel. From Dan and Isabella's connection to Dan and Trish's budding romance, Springsteen produces passion in her dialogue, laughter in the moments shared between Dan and Trish and unconditional love for all three.

I highly recommend this novel to everyone. The sweet romance was addictive and once I started reading, I could NOT stop. Springsteen has a glowing future in the publishing world of romance.

My Sexy Valentine Anthology, by Ike Rose, Michael Mandrake, Em Petrova and Daisy Harris

Unexpected surprises and four very special carnal adventures lie in wait for four sets of lovers on Valentine's day. These four short novels will make you laugh, cry, smolder, and send you running for a cold shower. In the first novel, "Bachelorette" by Em Petrova, a spirited woman is deserted by her fiance on the very day her wedding was to take place, but five delectable Frenchmen have a plan to comfort her out of her Valentine's Day blues - and bridal garments. In the second novel, "Only When I Lose Myself" by Michael Mandrake, Adrian is in need of someone to be his special Valentine and discovers that in janitor, Matthew Gianopolis, a janitor with superior intelligence but poor social skills, he has found it. In the third, "My Valentine Prince" by Ike Rose, a blue-collar college educated hunk who fought class prejudices to raise up the corporate ladder must choose which of two men is to be his Prince Charming: his rich ex-boss boyfriend, or the sailor who gave up his career to love him forever. In the fourth, "Cupid’s Arrow" by Daisy Harris, the god Cupid swears off love, but when a girl he shoots doesn't swoon as expected, he learns that to woo her he'll have to break his rule and fall in love with her himself.

Review:
This erotic anthology based around the holiday for lovers is an exceptional compilation of writers. The first novel “The Bachelorette” has Kiki being broken-hearted, practically left at the alter and hiding out in a flat/loft in Paris. Her only companions are her dog Capote (dressed in a fancy tutu) and her father's assistant and Kiki's childhood friend, Olivier. That is, until Olivier and his French friends decide to help Kiki forget the holiday and her wedding, and concentrate on her needs and desires. Petrova does an excellent job of building the characters, adding humor and really hits the mark with the sex scenes.

Michael Mandrake's “Only When I Lose Myself”, has Adrian wanting a special person to be his on Valentine's Day. Adrian finds his man in Matthew, a janitor with low social skills. Adrian's friends who are trying to find him a new love interest find Matthew a step below their social level and this bothers Adrian as well as Matthew's first few encounters with the magnificent Adrian. Mandrake produces some of the most well written characters in this erotic novel.

In “My Valentine Prince” Ike Rose creates a fabulous holiday love story between James Harahan and Max Murphy...or is it Paul van-Beekman? Jim, the local bad boy that everyone thinks is bad news, proves people wrong in between his sexual escapades with his lovers. Rose is very descriptive in his writing style and offers a delicious tale in this erotic novel. But the main question is, who will Jim pick? Max? Or Paul?

Cupid Zaleski (love that name) has declared no love in his life. But he's not the best “Cupid” when he somehow misses his mark for lovelorn Cassidy. The only way to make up for his “shooting” error is to make Cassidy fall in love...with him. The humor in this erotic novel is unbelievable. Daisy Harris made me chuckle more than I could count with the antics of this duo.

I recommend this erotic anthology even in the off holiday season.

Vengeance is only a mouse click away, but what happens when you fall for the one your suppose to hate? Diane Miles lets very few people into her life, and the ones she calls family she never lets go of. But what if is she to do when her best friend is dying and her whole world as she knows it is about to be torn apart.

Chase Griffin is in shock when a woman accuses him of treating one of his employees wrongfully. When she takes over his system making it impossible to work, he doesn't know whether to strangle her or spank her till she begs for mercy. When he discovers who his local vigilante is, strangling is the last thing on his mind as she becomes his rock during the last days of his sisters life.

Review:
Web designer Diane Miles has an attitude. She feels her best friend, Tina, is being ridiculed and Diane demands satisfaction. No one messes with her friends especially her sick friends. Diane's mission is to make Tina's boss, Chase Griffin, (who also happens to be Tina's older brother) a living hell and make him acknowledge his double standards against women. Diane decides to make Tina's boss work and office a living hell by taking over his computer system making it so he can't work.

The humorous way Diane toys with Chase by posting nude photos of men on his system is just one way Becraft adds wit to her writing. When Tina admits to Diane one night that she lied about being passed up for a promotion, Diane realizes her error in messing with Chase. One slip of the tongue at a party by Diane, Chase knows she's the vigilante messing with his system and company. The sparks fly and a war of the words becomes too much for the duo to handle.

Becraft creates dynamic characters with Diane's anger, frustration and determination for equality. From the way Chase's anger turns to tenderness with Diane as she supports him during his sister's last days of life to the way she infuriates him with her attitude and no-nonsense ways.

Successful business owner, Erin Brady is holding her own and then some in the male-dominated beer brewing industry. But her twenty-year marriage is crumbling as a result. She makes a last ditch attempt over one summer weekend to reconcile with her husband, only to finally accept the truth: It was over. When duty calls in the form of a last minute beer festival she must attend, Erin recognizes the futility of her efforts and leaves, knowing when she returns, her husband will be gone for good.

Vulnerable and emotionally raw, she arrives at the event with more issues than she can handle and finds herself distracted by the hot young brewer she wants to hire. Dedicated and loyal to her business, she tries to ignore the inevitable, but Jeff’s many skills serve as a balm to Erin’s battered psyche, as he helps with the beer booth and somehow works his way into her fantasies.

Review:
Erin Brady, co-founder and one of three owners of the Winter Street Brewing Company (WSBC) is dealing with a summer time festival that could be good for business and a failing marriage. The last attempt to salvage he marriage proves futile and during the hectic weekend event, she meets a new employee, Jeff. He's hot, attractive and damn if Erin is attracted to him.

Depressed and fairly vulnerable, Erin tried to fight the feelings but when the weekend event is over, she gives in to lust. Jeff is able to break through her barrier and helps relief some physical and emotional tension she's been harboring.

In this third WSBC series, Crowe doesn't make the reader think, “Erin's marriage just failed, why is she sleeping with the first man to give her attention”. Instead I finished the novel thinking, “Damn, she deserved that”. Crowe's meticulous attention to detail is in this novel. The empathy and sympathy felt for the heroine was genuine and Crowe's ability to create concrete characters is fabulous. The believable moments when Erin is clumsy around the young man is something many women have experience, hence making the story line and plot realistic. Kudos to Crowe for creating a great short novel for erotic readers.

Dani, the new female brewer, has something special in mind for Blake behind closed doors of her brew house. Guaranteed to leave an impression.

It's Holiday Party time, and the employees of Winter Street Brewing Co. are doing it up right, with a special ale brewed just for them by one of the owners. High in spice and alcohol, XXXMas Ale gives Blake, the handsome and shy warehouse manager, the liquid courage he needs when he encounters Danielle, the new female brewer. Dani's determination to see what Blake has to offer after their first introduction brings him out of his shell—long enough for him to appreciate not only her expertise with rare Belgian beers, but what passion she offers that may threaten his heart.

Review:
Blake, a Winter Street Brewing Company (WSBC) employee is attractive, he knows it but doesn't use it to his advantage at work with the ladies. Suzanne, the sales director, hits him up for some fun, he's slightly interested until he sees Dani, the new assistant to Owen Maxwell, one of the founders of the WSBC at the holiday party. He's drawn to her physically and sexually. When she hands him a piece of paper inviting him to meet her in the brew house, he's curious and horny.

They meet in the brew house and let's just say a stack of pallets will never be the same again. The wild sex is briefly interrupted when Owen and another employee starts looking for the duo. Dani fills Blake's sexual void with passion and dreams of a future. When she explains she wants to be with him for more than the evening, Blake is thrilled.

Once again, Crowe accomplishes so much action and compelling scenes to draw the reader in. The exchange between Dani and Blake was thought-provoked and persuasive all throughout the novel. If a reader is looking for a short read packing a quality punch of sex and eroticism, then I recommend XXX Ale.

Pandora is a half-demon, alone in the world and good as abandoned, with a mother who barely tolerates her and a father who is unable to be with her nearly often enough for her tastes. She keeps to herself and tries not to associate with others often, lest they discover her secret--until she meets Keviar Cornwall. The two collide in ignorance of one another, but the sexual attraction is indisputable and cannot be ignored, growing more profound with every passing moment. It blinds them to the lurking danger hiding just around the corner, out to end both their lives and everyone either of them have ever known or loved.

Review:
Demonic Pandemonium was an exciting story from beginning to end! We meet Pandora, a half-human/half –demon woman living in Vancouver. She works as a horror writer and hides who she is from the rest of the world. She grew up a lonely child, ignored by her human mother and with infrequent but loving visits from her demon father. Pandora keeps people way because she doesn’t want them to discover who or what she is. She has accepted her existence but is longing for more. The story opens with her angry because her agent has stolen her latest manuscript and has marketed it as his own.

An unfortunate accident at a coffee shop leads to a chance encounter with vampire Kevlar Brandenburg. Tall, dark and handsome, he is instantly attracted to Pandora and her to him. Having grown up with his own issues in the past, Kev is determined to be a better person. Pandora finds him a little (ok, a lot) mysterious but can’t seem to tear herself away from him. An impromptu date eventually turns into a fate-changing encounter.

This book had everything: drama, mystery, romance and of course, smoking hot sex! The chemistry between them was great and really permeated the story. The connection between them quickly becomes more than sex but even as they fall deeper in love, the chemistry is never lost.

When Kev and Pandora have to team up with the Cornwall Coven in order to save the human race and the world, we find out how bad-ass Pandora really can be. There are so many twists and turns in this story to keep the reader engaged. We learn more about the circumstances of Pandora’s birth (based on the Greek myth of Pandora) and we also learn about Kev’s background. Several shockers along the way keep you reading until the very end.

I totally enjoyed this and would highly recommend it!

He’s going to hell. Not that he’s any stranger to the place. For two years Richard Wolfe has lived in a self-imposed hell in order to prove his devotion to the woman he loves. When Dr. Fallon Enright asks for an early release from her contract with the Lothario, Richard knows his time has run out. Desperate to keep her onboard, he stoops to an all-time low, even for him.

Fallon knew it wouldn’t be easy to walk away from the Lothario, and the man she loves, but she never dreamed Richard would stoop to blackmail to keep her onboard. Worse, instead of leveling charges of sexual harassment, she’d agreed to his asinine plan. For the next week, she would submit to Richard, in all things. The possibilities sent a shiver down her spine.

Review:
I was actually surprised by how quickly I was thrown into this book! From the moment I’d read the first sentence, I was hooked. It was that perfect neither-of-the-character’s-realises-they’re-both-actually-liking-each-other story, and yet so much more. First of all the setting was definitely nothing I’d ever read before; taking place on a very special ship on the sea. Then I loved the fact that these two had actually been around each other for years, which made it somewhat more believable as well.

I have to say that it was a bit slow in the middle though. I mean, I do love me some sexy time, but when it’s practically the same thing going on for each time something steamy is going on, it gets a bit old. But it quickly turned around for the better again, so I wasn’t suffering for long! In fact, it was only for a few pages and I might not even have noticed this if I hadn’t read it all at once either.

I adored the main characters. Truly! Richard was a perfect hero for the story. Both H-O-T and so wonderfully sweet that I just wanted to hug him. More than once. I wouldn’t complain to have a guy doing what he did for Fallon, for me. Sigh. Even though it might have been a bit much at times... And Fallon was a really nice heroine as well. I can often get a bit annoyed at the ladies in novels, but I wasn’t at Fallon. She was very reasonable and surely knew what she wanted. Although I would have liked to smack her at one point. But why that is, you’ll just have to find out for yourself! I also loved how connected I became with the characters; I could actually feel the love and pain taking place throughout the book, which I adore in a book.

I’m very sure that if it hadn’t been for that little drawn-out period in the middle, it would have been a full 5 cup rating. As it is though, it didn’t quite reach that. However, that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t recommend it; I definitely would. All of you Erotic Romance fans out there, who enjoys BDSM, shouldn’t hesitate to pick it up! Who knows; you might not even find it slow at all. I will definitely have to check out more books by this author!

From their first chance encounter, to the finale, where Caliphany must decide where her heart truly lies, she and Galadin will face more adventure, more love, more heartache, than they ever thought possible. Through it all, they discover the power of forgiveness and of a love that stands the test of time.

Review:
At first it has hard for me to get into the book. It was slow paced for a bit and then picked up. Once it did it was interesting. The characters were well thought of and took form. For me the secrets that we find out about made the book happen. There were some twists that keep you on the edge of your seat.

I give 3 cups because of the slowness. Over all the storyline is not bad at all just needs some tweaking.

Amanda Cooper, scarred from burns received in a car accident, suddenly meets her high school sweetheart. She keeps him at arms length, so he won’t be repulsed by her burns, but he wants to restart their relationship from ten years ago.

Meanwhile, someone unknown has been sending her threatening letters and is hunting her down to kill her. Will she be killed by whoever is stalking her, or will Eric convince her he sees her beauty beyond her scars?

Review:
A fast paced read that keeps you wanting to read and not put down the book. Amanda Cooper has a great job, house and somewhat of a love life; that is, until she finds out she is not the only woman Jeffery has been seeing. On their way home from a party, Amanda confronts him about it and they are involved in a car accident in which Amanda is scarred by all the burns and Jeffery burns up in the car.

Amanda’s boss and friend sends her to the beach for two weeks to relax and get away. She is shocked to see her ex-boyfriend from ten years ago approach her. He found out about her accident and hunted her down through her friends. He wants another chance but Amanda is afraid if Eric sees her scars, that will be the end of it.

After the accident, Amanda has been getting some threatening notes. Will that person cash in on the notes and hurt her?

The characters are all great and the storyline is remarkable. I did not want to put this book down. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Eric and Amanda take shape. This, to me, is a must read for anyone.

Lisa loves her job in the male-dominated beer sales industry and has built a reputation as one of the best. But she dreads the "ride along" days when beer companies sends their least experienced representatives to see how she operates—until her one bad day turns into something more with The Rookie.

Undercover for his own brewery, Trent has heard of Lisa's prestigious sales prominence and sets out to see for himself—to show Lisa what he is capable of—in business and pleasure. Their attraction leads them to an amazing encounter in the most unlikely place, but will Lisa accept Trent's true identity once it's revealed? Or will she finally surrender and reach out for the unexpected?

Review:
Lisa's reputation in the brewing industry is hardcore. She's a go-getter, a hard-worker and determined to make it in the male dominated world. Having a bad morning already, Lisa finds out she has to take a rookie vendor representative on her route. Not thrilled with the situation, she quickly changes her mind when she sees how attractive Trent Franklin is.

Midway through their day, the passion erupts. Both felt the attraction earlier and when Trent initiates the first move, Lisa follows suit. It isn't until they're at Lisa's next establishment and contact that she finds out the truth about Trent. He's one of the founder's of the Winter Street Brewing Company (WSBC), basically her boss. Lisa almost freaks out until she finds out that Trent has wanted her since the moment she finds out he saw her that morning and make a date for later that evening.

Crowe's writing in this first in the series of the WSBC is remarkable. She has you cheering for the duo throughout the story. The depth of the characters is noteworthy and made it easy to understand why they fell for each other instantly. The HEA ending made the powerful read worthwhile and I would recommend this short to erotic readers. Crowe's ability to twist a sex scene into something more dramatic is applauded.

Halle Tremont loved kinky sex. When the mysterious phone call came in the middle of a busy morning at her office commanding her to remove her panties, she was shocked, but she promptly followed orders. In fact, there was little she wouldn’t do for the mystery man that garnered her attention. Her lover, Snake Brennon, wanted Halle hot and hungry and their affair had thrown them into some interesting positions; making love in the middle of an elevator, at his construction site and in a restaurant bathroom. There was nothing they wouldn’t try. However, Snake knew what Halle really craved and with the help of her best friend and one very exotic party, he set out to fulfill her every fantasy. The first? Being pampered by several masked male volunteers who pleasure her naked body in the glistening pool while the guests observe. The second? A night of uninhibited passion as she lay bound, gagged and blindfolded. Enlisting the help of the same masked men, Snake was determined to give Halle the most uninhibited night of her life. But the question remains--could Halle handle the salacious acts?

Review:
Halle Tremont is a career woman and what better way to throw this woman off business then to call her in the middle of the day, asking her to masturbate so you can watch from across the street, site unseen. That's exactly what her new boyfriend Snake, AKA Leslie Brennon does. While the white collar big-wigs are on the other side of the door, Halle gives in to Snake's demand.

Wild kinky sex in public places (ex. construction site, elevator- we've all had this fantasy I think) are a couple of locations where they “get it on”. One fantasy Halle has never been to fulfill was about to come true with the help of her friend, Kimberly.

Snake arranges an sex party where masked men will lavish over Halle's body then in a second sex scene they bound and play kinky, rough sex games with her.

I've reviewed Dayne's books in the past and have to say Shadows or Panic and Wicked Desire's is by far her best work. The tension, passion and camaraderie between Halle and Snake are undeniable and perfect. Dayne's writing style and provocativeness left me wanting more. The way Dayne weaves a story and the character's interaction is awe-inspiring writing. From the opening scene of Halle answering the phone to Snake's demands of pleasuring herself while he played voyeur, left me wanting more. This short novel is jam-packed with sexual action, heat and some of the steamiest scenes I've read. I highly recommend this book for anyone, especially couples looking to rev up their own sex life. Perfect for a night of passion.

Dangerous secrets can melt a cold winter’s night but are they hot enough to forge common ground?

In 1899 Indianapolis, adventurous sex isn’t exactly appropriate conversation for afternoon tea. Yet, an exciting sex life is exactly what Chelsea wants desperately from her beau Luther. Tired of society’s strict conventions and his less than inspired fumblings in the bedroom, she devises a plan that is sure to bring Luther’s passions to the forefront.

Luther harbors a dark secret of his own. A werewolf by birth, he’s compelled to shift at each full moon but fears if he shares the knowledge with Chelsea, she’ll run in fear. What he doesn’t count on is her matching his appetites in the bedroom.

One long night of sexual play at a hotel during the Christmas season is all it takes to meet their needs yet will the confidences they keep unravel their love or will it strengthen the relationship as fast as a little light bondage?

Review:
Luther and Chelsea have been seeing each other for 3 years. As much as she loves him she is finding their love making dull and boring. She wanted something more not just plain old sex. She tells Luther to either get more exciting or she is leaving. She goes and pretends to be someone else to lure Luther into her game. She is about to embark on a wild ride and who knows if she will make it.

I enjoyed the book as the characters were well done. It was tasteful and I wanted to see if Luther was going to come clean with the truth. If he did I wanted to see what Chelsea’s reaction would be. There are some great love scenes that will make you melt.
